Title: Just the right fit – for me – but everyone’s ear canal is different.
Review: I received new Phonak I90-R hearing aids 2 weeks ago. After a few days I found that one ear had bothersome intermittent low level feedback with the Phonak closed domes the audiologist fit me with. I went back and got a couple of power domes to try. One somewhat worked, but its placement in the ear was “just so” to stop the feedback. The other was too big and plugged up my ear. Then I tried Amazon. I tried a 48 piece set of multiple sized universal fit domes. Only the very smallest could be inserted into my ears (medium Phonak domes)., and it didn’t work to stop the feedback. I then bought and tried tried 8mm ReSound medium power domes. They work, but they are uncomfortable, being quite large and hard to insert, and painful after a few hours of being in my ear.I was intrigued by the clever design of these domes, but I was worried they would be too big, but for $7 I decided to give them a try. It was like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, they are just right for me. They go in my ear easily, and they seal well enough that no feedback occurs, yet loose enough that I don’t feel like I’m wearing ear plugs, and they are comfortable. (Okay, not as comfortable as the open domes on my old lower powered hearing aids, but as close to that as I imagine is possible with my new medium power hearing aids needing a better seal to prevent feedback.)I like the fact that these are made of thin flexible silicone, instead of the more solid rubber of the closed ReSound tips. They are more like my previous open Phonak domes, and my new – almost worked – Phonak closed domes.

Title: Good value for money
Review: Bought these for my father who lives in India. He found these to be incredibly comfortable and good value for money. The fit was good, even though there was an instance when it got stuck in his ear.

Title: Sticks in your ear!
Review: These are supposed to click firmly on the tip of the hearing aid. They do not, and when you take the hearing aid out the dome stays in your ear and is hard to remove. I have had to get someone to carefully remove them from my ear with a tweezers. These are not worth the small savings.
