Title: Great light/magnification
Review: bright light, great magnification. I’d have given it a 5 star review, but if using the base plate as the mount, there is nothing that will keep the light “attached” to the base. You have to pay attention when moving. If you grab by the arm, the plate will detach and be dropped (beware floor or furniture damage). Suggest adding a thumb screw to secure the two pieces together.

Title: Poor Design Cheaply Built
Review: The lamp assembly wouldn’t fit into either or the bases. I had to deform it with a large pair of pliers to get it to fit. The clamp base wouldn’t stay put on my workbench. The joint holding the lamp head to the flex arm fell apart easily and was extremely difficult to reassemble. The knobs used to tighten the joints are too close to the springs, making them extremely hard to tighten. Pay a little more and get something decent.
