Title: An excellent magnifying glass and light for any work station
Review: The 8X Magnifying Glass with Light does as described in the description. The light can be as bright or dim as suits one’s needs. The variable colors of the light are nice, though in my case, I want the light as white and bright as possibleThe glass magnifier is very clear. I did not note any distortion. It claims 8X magnification. To me, I can not attest to that claim. However, I am very pleased with all aspects of both the magnifier and the light. I like that the controls for the light are located at the base of the light. This provides easy access and control when working with the magnifier and light.Some reviews state that 8X Magnifying Glass with Light is not stable when the light is extended beyond the base. This is true. However, I had a one pound lead ingot which I put in a ZipLock snack bag. I set that on the base and the problem was immediately solved. I seriously doubt that the light could have been designed better without adding a considerable weight to the base and additional cost to the unit. I think that for this price point, that this magnifier and light is an excellent buy. It has a nice clean and functional structure to it. I would highly recommend this product to others.For those not wanting to be in contact with lead, steel shot and non-lead fishing weights are readily available at a reasonable cost at hardware and sporting goods stores. In my case, the lead weight in a ZipLock bag solved the problem.

Title: Quality product
Review: Love the sleekness of the design as it adds to the functionality of it and not just the aesthetics. It is not bulky. Love how you can opt to clamp it to a table, or put it in the tabletop mount that it comes with. The light is a bright white that does not get hot, which makes it a great lamp when doing any sort of work that requires a good light. The brightness adjustment is very subtle as you dim or increase it- so you can get it just where you want it without a jump in lighting quality. The magnifying glass is also excellent; clear and high quality. I purchased the 5x and it is beyond my expectations while doing needle work. The clamp is strong, because you turn clamp it in place, rather than clipping it. The flexible neck is also very good for table work- you can bend to any height you need without a problem. It is a plug-in so this is far from a travel light if you are looking for something with a battery. I do wish it came with a longer cord, but it is nothing an extension cord can’t fix. I highly recommend this product as it is better all around than a highly sought after brand on the market- one that I own and will now probably donate.

Title: A good little light- versatile. Mounting options are good
Review: So let me say that I cant use the clamp mount with my bench its just a tad too thick , over 2 inches it would need to clear- but the clamp mount feels and looks quite sturdy- But also the REACH of this small lamp means if you DO clip it youll be working pretty dang close to the edge of your benchlike not much more than a foot depending on how high up you need to work – So the included pedestal base is nice and its what I am using. Now- its got some good weight to it and it does hold up the light but youll want to hold the base while adjusting the bend in the lamp because the neck is nice and stiff and the base will move or tip – thats unavoidable in this case. but its fine once adjusted to stand on its own.On to the item itself. For the price the magnifier is decent. Its quite usable. it is large enough for most work. The magnification is mild so you wont be using this for Ultra fine soldering or something but it is a good augmentation and makes things easier. It could also be used to read fine print effectively if your eyes are getting older and tired or you have a visual disability like my wife does. (Not a joke about my looks but I certainly don’t deserve her) The light has multiple color temp modes which can help more than youd think with getting a clear look at something, and a wide range of adjustable brightness. Its plenty bright to function as a nice bright desk lamp for non magnified work. Added bonus is the base is a nice place to put thngs down or neatly store a little pair of helping hands or something since it dished you can put screws or small parts on it and they wont “escape”. The cable is USB… so this is easy to power. It comes with the USB to wall adapter (phone charger style) as well of course.

Title: Great for the light, not the magnifying glass.
Review: The light works great, but the magnifying glass isn’t too good with darker colors when I’m working on a diamond puzzle. I originally thought I would need to use the clamps, but the stand has plenty of weight, even when I arc the light all the way over. It hasn’t toppled on me one time, so it’s very sturdy. Great size for using with diamond puzzles.

Review: I am loving this new magnifier light! I haven’t tried the clamp yet, but the base function is great. A nice weight, easy to put together, magnifies well, bright light. Everything I need for hobby painting, coin ID, and anything else requiring more clear detail. Recommend.

Title: Great for hand sewing and more.
Review: Just get the 10X! I was afraid it would be too strong to use while cross stitching so I started off with weaker lights but ended up with this one. I have it clamped to the metal cart beside my recliner, and with the flexible arm, I can lower it to the perfect spot for however I have my recliner set. I use it almost daily for cross stitching plus it’s great for reading labels and many other things. The quality is good. There is no distortion and you can set the color and the brightness of the light to fit your needs.

Title: Let there be light!
Review: I use this for building and painting wargaming miniatures, and it does such a fantastic job. I use to think I had plenty of light, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Being able to adjust the brightness as well as the color of has been a game changer.As for the magnifying glass, zooming in on those little bits and details of these very tiny models not only helps me know when the brush is actually touching the model (which lets me control how much pressure I use to control paint flow), but in many cases has helped me understand the intent behind the bit, making the model more readable.

Review: Compré esto solo por la linterna, ya que se puede cambiar el color y la intecidad. Pero descubierto que la lupa funciona bien para realizar manulidad con cuentas pequeñas ya que no forzo tanto la vista. La uso con la base ya que mi escritorio no es apto para utilizar la pinza. Me gustaria que el cuello fuera más flexible. El material es muy bueno, al tacto se siente robusto.

Review: Bought this for myself just as a light for sewing. I have however found that the magnifying lens works good for locating and pulling the little cat hairs that inevitably find their way onto my diamond paintings. I can not speak to the clamp as I have not used it, but used with the base it is sturdy. Magnifying lens works good. I wish the neck was longer but otherwise a fantastic light!
