Title: Good quality
Review: The first one delivered had the lens fall out and break as I was unpacking. Factory assembly error.Was quickly replaced, and I am really enjoying it. Good sized lens, clear and sharp. Lighting is easy to control and the USB adapter to 110V plug in works well.Mounts easily and firmly, easy to adjust tension on joints, and at a good price point. Thanks!

Review: This is a good Magnifying Glass with Light and Clamp. It functions great, and so far is very stable. I really like the fact it comes with a clamp or I can use the base it came with. My only issue for me is that it’s reach needs to be longer.

Title: Adaptable
Review: I needed this item read newspapers and books while sitting in my recliner due to macular degeneration. At first I thought I might have to return it when I had difficulty getting the arm to articulate to reach my recliner from an adjacent shelf to which I clamped the mount. All pictures for the product show the lower arm tilting away from the magnifier. I needed the lower arm to tilt toward the magnifier to reach my recliner. This became possible by reversing the arm mechanism in the mount and swinging the upper arm over to the opposite side. As the unit came in the box, this was not possible, and I had to loosen nuts on the lower hinge bolts to get it to move at all. After getting the arm to articulate as desired, springs make the lower arm rise so it wouldn’t stay in the extended position. I had to exchange a nut on the lower hinge with a thumb nut on the upper hinge so that I could tighten the thumb nut on the lower hinge to hold the arm in position. I did not find a need for the thumb nut on the upper hinge as delivered although they should provide them on all the joints as occurs with desk lamps I have. There is a thumb nut on the magnifier attachment to hold it at the angle desired. This one is essential. I found comments in other reviews to be pretty accurate, except I didn’t find the shelf clamp to be too flimsy even though the fit between the magnifier and the clamp is sloppy.
