Title: A Professional tool at an Amateur price.
Review: I have only had this for a few days, but I own other jewelry loupes and will review based on comparisons. The fact that this is rechargeable is a big plus. “Fiddle-f-rting” around trying to change batteries…or even trying to ‘find’ the proper sized batteries is something I really won’t miss. The small, fitted, hard-sided, sturdy, zippered but small carrying case is a “Plus”. Another plus is the proper lens cloth tucked in the case. At 30x the viewing field is very shallow, as expected, but it’s sharp and accurate as far as I can tell. The four types of light are an improvement over the usual “daylight” and “UV” choices. The loupe feels good in the hand. The lens doesn’t “flop around” after it is opened, if you know what I mean. This allows the protective sleeve to act as a sturdy handle, and keeps fingers off the lens itself.Only time will tell how well this continues to function as well as it does now…and if it is indeed the bargain I believe it to be.

Review: I took a chance on this loupe because of the price and features. People were recommending the expensive Optic brands. This suites my needs perfectly. The optics are fine. 10x is just right for looking at watches. The 4 light settings including UV is very useful. The rechargeable battery is a must have. It has a nice weight to it making it easy to hold steady. Highly recommended!!
