Title: I’m impressed!
Review: When I ordered these, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The description says noise-cancelling, but of course, they’re not; the dB rating makes that clear. Still, for a 12-pack of noise-dampening headphones, they were a good deal, and since my kids have gone through a lot of them for various reasons (comfort, damage, loss), I thought it couldn’t hurt to try them. There are 12 headphones included in this pack–2 pink, 2 orange, 2 blue, 2 silver, 2 black, and 2 green. All the colors are consistent and bright (aside from the black and silver). They arrive packed tightly together, wrapped in plastic inside a simple cardboard box stamped with their contents.Design-wise, they didn’t look like much at first. They’re similar to many others we’ve owned of this type, but they’re surprisingly some of the most comfortable. The amount they can pull down is much greater than previous pairs, allowing them to fit me and my girls (ages 11 and almost 9) perfectly. The earcups are soft and comfortable and fit around my/their ears without rubbing, interfering with earrings, or causing pressure points. The headband is also soft, and since these headphones are super light, the headband isn’t even noticeable once on.The quality is better than I expected, as well. The plastic does feel thin, and I was concerned about durability, so I had my husband look more closely at them since he used to have similar headphones while testing software on airplanes. He said it’s very similar to the type of plastic the company headphones used; it’s thin to be light but lasts a long time and puts up with a lot of abuse. As to abuse—since my kids tend to damage these types of headphones easily, we decided to see exactly how much these could take without breaking. We twisted them, pulled them almost straight, stepped on them, threw them, pretty much anything you could imagine to stress them, and they bounced back every single time. I’m providing a picture of one test I did (stepping on one earpad and twisting the other around). The picture of me wearing them was taken AFTER that test. As you can see, the headband fits perfectly and shows no stress or damage.Noise dampening is as expected for the headphone’s rating and works as good as, if not slightly better than, the others we have at the same rating. These aren’t going to block out sounds like noise-canceling headphones or dampen sound to the point where someone has to snap their fingers in front of your face to get your attention. You will hear everything, but at a muted level, which is exactly what my kids need to avoid sensory overload in assemblies and help them focus on their tests.I’m extremely glad I gave these a try, and I suspect that outside of losing the headphones (and with a 12-pack, we have plenty of backups), my kids will be using them for a long time.

Title: I Can’t Hear You…
Review: I ordered these headphones for a special reason. My husband and I have a 10yr. old son with Down Syndrome. There can be several issues with DS children and one of those is a sensitivity to loud noises, the fire alarm at school, children playing and screaming and many other noises. At home we use noise cancellation headphones that he actually listens to while playing his iPad and they work great! These are made ok, but not great! They block out a lot of sound and make the sounds you hear muffled. The ear pads are nice & comfortable. The only problem that I see (hence the 4 star score) is when you pull down on each side to adjust the ear muffs it is only wire on both sides that you see when you pull down on either of them to adjust the Ear pads to my ears. I really don’t think these will last very long with children adjusting them. Other than that I like them! I would recommend these for others to buy

Title: Kids love them
Review: My kids love being pulled in a trailer behind the riding mower, these noise cancelling ear muffs are perfect for protecting their ears from the loud motor. They love that they can each have their own color, with extras for friends that come over for a ride. One size really does fit all, from my 3 year old to my 13 year old, they work, fit and feel great.

Title: Great Value
Review: I am an elementary art teacher, and the ceiling in my classroom is two stories tall. This creates a lot of noise, even then the kids aren’t being exceptionally noisy. I have a few students with sensory processing issues who are triggered by loud noises and now they know that they can help themselves to these headphones whenever they need them. It has allowed some of these students to be able to stay in class longer, which I love.
