Title: Distorted optics
Review: The view of text or a grid on a flat surface is only visible across the lens when it is so close it is less than 10x magnification. Moving it away distortion comes in from the edge toward the center as magnification increases at the center. Looking at a grid it is obvious the distortion is not uniform indicating bad lens shape. Two were purchased and each has different grid distortion indicating poor quality control. The plastic protection is very thick making it too large to conveniently carry in a pocket. The plastic seems fragile but it may just be the flexibility. It does not seem to be a Mini Pocket Magnifier. The sides protecting the lens fit tight at the hinge point side but have a sizable gap on the opposite side. Pocket lint and dust can easily get to the lens. With disappointment, I am returning both.
