Review: This a GREAT magnifier. I really like it. The built-in light is SUPER HELPFUL. The optical quality as far as I can tell is VERY good. However I don’t believe it is 40x magnification. The “40” is probably correct, but not the magnification….. rather a description of the lens itself…. 40x25mm. I wouldn’t discount it because of this. Take it for what it is. A VERY good magnifying loop with a light that is super helpful. I definitely recommend it. I can see very small detail with it and will be using it a lot.
