Title: Great value and they supplement/outperform reading magnifiers that don’t seem strong enough.
Review: Requires 3 AAA batteries (not 2!) and the slot for the third is not visible in dim light. The lights are bright and make the handheld magnifier very useful. The small lens is a very strong magnifier and great for very fine work. Very clear lenses outperform more expensive magnifiers for general work.

Review: I have bought several of these, not because they broke but because a have them in several places around the house. I tried a different brand once and it fine but it was bigger and bulkier. Also, my husband liked this brand and asked me to get him one for work. It’s not too big and bulky. It’s just the right size and weight for my needs. It works well for me. I love the feature that adds light if I need it. It requires 3 AAA batteries for the light feature. I still have the first one I ever bought quite a while ago and is still is great. I take good care of my things though.
