Title: Very handy
Review: It is a very handy tool for people who cannot talk due to the surgery or simply lack of English. It was two boards in a package which I think is a great value for this price. All you need to do is to buy a washable marker and something to erase from this board and you are good to go. I think that it is a good size board with a good quality.

Title: Useful and lightweight
Review: I like this communication board for my non-verbal idd relative. It is a useful addition to his communication aids. There are some boxes on this board that we haven’t had before like “short of breath”, “heater”, “air conditioner”, “turn on/off tv”, and “how am I doing”. Short of breath is one I really like and wished for often during the pandemic!The board is of coated cardboard similar to the back cover of a spiral notebook in weight, if that helps. The video on the ad shows the accurate size. The size is great for our household, since it won’t get lost! I like the artwork and the lettering. You can hang it on a designated hook as there is a slot on the top.I put the board under the faucet and ran a bit of water on it to test how waterproof it is. The water rolled right off!The board is somewhat flexible, but it is not plastic and cannot be folded much without creasing. The board can be torn by a determined person without much difficulty. I used a dry erase marker on it to test and was able to wipe it off afterwards very easily and thoroughly. We only use the pointing method here, though. I like that it is a pack of two so you can keep one in the car and one in the house. It’s great to have a backup!For us this is a handy board (with some cute pictures) and I recommend it!

Title: Nice clear and durable communication board
Review: This two pack of communication boards are durable and has clear words and pictures that my child can point to when he is not in the mood to talk. I like how there is so many different choices of pictures or selections that there is for a person to non verbally communicate to a parent or caregiver how they are feeling or what they are in need of. These boards have come in handy in my household for a child whom has trouble communicating, this has made our lives a bit easier.

Title: Good option — wish I’d had this earlier

This kind of thing would be very helpful the first few days after a child’s tonsils removal, because it allows communication without voice. What I like about it is that it covers basic medical and hospital needs, such as “I feel pain here” and “I’m hungry” and “I want to see my doctor.” But it also includes negative thoughts and emotions such as “I want to go home,” “I feel frustrated/angry,” and “I don’t like that.” These concepts are just as important for a nonverbal person to be able to convey as it is to ask for a drink. I really like this and might include it in my work with students, even though it’s designed for illnesses.

Review: Purchased these for a friend who is on a vent. She’s conscious but can’t talk. They are helpful but not real sturdy. It would be nice if they were 2 different sheets but they aren’t. Both are exactly the same

Review: These are helpful posters for special needs people. They are clear and easy to see. They would work well in a classroom or therapy setting. They are also good for those caring for someone who has issues communicating. They are both the same so you can leave one and keep one with you.

Title: useful, quality of board fair
Review: This communication board has some useful pictures/words to help communicate with those who are verbally challenged, but have the motor skills to point to the areas on the board. I find the board itself is of fair quality. It is indeed waterproof as I poured water on it to test it. The handle part is made of the same cardboard material and is more prone to bending/tearing.

Title: Works For All Types of People
Review: Although this is advertised for the elderly and hospitalized patients, this can be suitable for those with special needs, too. This will be for my 11-year-old nephew who has autism. Some of the images he is too young for, but most of them he can use to communicate with. In my opinion, this is best for adults, but fine for at least older kids.
