Review: VERDICTBuy if you need something cheapWHYThis is a cheap product – the plastic is the lowest grade, low density plastic that will likely break if you squeeze it too hard. The instructions are inaccurate: hi, low, off. No, there is only high and low settings for the ringer, there is no off. That being said, the chirping ringer can get quite loud and there is a visual indicator (it flashes). For the price, it’s good and serves a purpose

Title: Works well, ringer switch and phone jacks aren’t labeled
Review: I have a phone in my shop that sometimes I don’t hear so I wanted something to boost the sound. This amplifier does that pretty well. There is a ringer selection switch on the side that isn’t labeled so it’s pretty much a guess until I’ve had enough phone calls to experiment with it. Also the phone jacks aren’t labeled as to which is in and which is out, so I assumed that it would work either way. Once again time will tell. There are 2 of these amplifiers in the box and they came at a very reasonable price. Installation is as simple as plugging them into the phone line and then plugging the phone into them.
