Review: Helpful when you forget the reading glassesEspecially reading a contract or the darn fine print on the manual to set up some new gadget or gizmo

Title: Very Nice! Exceeds Expectations
Review: As I get older, it seems like I always need a magnifier. Glasses just aren’t practical to carry all the time, especially when sweating, or in tight quarters, active sports where they often fall off or get broken. Is it just me or do it seem like the more money you spend on glasses from the pricy stores, the more fragile and shorter their lifespan. I’ve got cheapos from Dollar Tree that last years, but the last to “scratch protect” lens I bought from America’s Best lasted less than a month or under a week respectively, and they would not help. I bought these to keep a cheap magnifier nearly everywhere I might need one, without causing clutter. The plastic case should keep the lens clean and hopefully prevent scratches, the bane of these little Fresnel lenses. The plastic cases are very thin, but that allows them to fit well in a wallet or business card carrier slot. Very happy with these.

Title: All are scratched and you should know
Review: TRUTH IS I Can’t find a single lens which is free of scratches or optically decent. The quality of the plastic is cheap, thinner and rougher than you expect. Made of the same plastic of lids from takeout containers and equally flimsy. Both textured and smooth sides have an over abundance of surface scratches and scuffs, which impairs their use. The fresnel effect is poor, since the ridges are often not even across the product. Very third world and not what you’re used to if you have purchased these in the past at pharmacies or other places. They might be a good value but they are not a good product. Their functionality is diminished. Their use case is redefined by their quality which is not a defect from shipment but from the supplier. Many on amazon are just the same. Beware of the clones and seek non-chinese products.
