Title: 2025 Voilala Elderly OTC Hearing Aids
Review: These haring aids work OK at boosting voices but they will boost your own voice at a slight delay which can be confusing. The background noise suppression works ok but does occasionally produce a good amount of echo.

Title: Excellent Hearing Aids for Clear Sound and Comfort
Review: These hearing aids are a game-changer! They are easy to use and feature four volume levels for a customizable experience. The noise-canceling function works really well, allowing for clear sound even in noisy environments. I love that they’re rechargeable, which saves on battery costs. The sound quality is crystal clear, and they’re comfortable to wear for long periods. They work great for mild to severe hearing loss, and the skin-tone design is discreet. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone needing extra help with hearing!

Title: Amazing hearing aids for a very low price!
Review: I never expected to get decent hearing aids for less than $100. These were great right out-of-the-box and easy to use. It only required 30 seconds of learning and I was up and hearing all the conversations I had been missing. Excellent value for the money. Try this out before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Title: No Help with ADP and Voices were Harder for Me to Understand
Review: I have developed ADP (auditory processing disorder) over the years, where I have trouble hearing voices over background noise. For example, sitting at a restaurant bar (with lots of background chatter), I struggle to hear what the bartender is asking me – while my friends have no problems hearing the bartender. Or when I’m cooking in the kitchen and turn on the microwave or the convection oven, I suddenly struggle to hear the TV on the other side of the room. This hearing aid is supposed to help with reducing background noise, so I thought I would try to see if could help. Bottom line: it does not. For my issue, the hearing aids only amplified the sounds of the microwave and convection oven, making it even harder for me to hear the voices on the TV.But even without any background noise, I struggled to understand voices (which I otherwise can hear such voices perfectly well). The sound I get when wearing these hearing aids is like that of voices over a walkie talkie – even more like voices over a walkie talkie with a wavering connection. Or I’d equally compare the sound quality to that of talking to someone on the phone who is using VOIP (voice over internet protocol) on the other end, where the voice sounds garbled and difficult to understand. I really had to concentrate on the voices to comprehend what was being said when I was using the hearing aids. Now – again – I don’t have traditional hearing loss. Once I took the hearing aids out, I could hear and understand all voices very well. My issue arises only when those voices are competing with significant background noise. So perhaps someone with traditional hearing loss would, in fact, find even the walkie-talkie-like or VOIP-like quality sound of these hearing aids to be helpful and better than barely hearing at all. I honestly don’t know, since I don’t have traditional hearing loss. But even without hearing loss, I was expecting these hearing aids to sound much closer to reality than they do. I honestly struggled to understand voices using them.In terms of the product design, they look and work just like a set of cordless, rechargeable Bluetooth ear headphones. I even like that they look very much like wireless headphones that wrap around your ears – no one will even suspect they are, in fact, hearing aids. But one design issue I do not like: the volume buttons. They are located on the lateral sides of each hearing aid, right where you ear canal is. But they’re difficult to press: you really need to exert some pressure to activate the button to change the volume (and repeatedly do this to move up and down the 4 volume levels). This needed pressure to activate the buttons ends up pushing the ear muff of each hearing aid deeper into your ear canals, which is anything but comfortable. I understand there is probably a need to not make the buttons too touch sensitive so that you don’t accidentally turn the volume up to max. But these buttons are just too hard to press, and your ear canals take the brunt of the pressure.
