Title: Great magnifying glass.
Review: This looks just like the one I used when I was doing CSI for the Orange County Sheriff Department. Having to look at fingerprints on items I dusted I would pull out this magnifying glass to see if it was useable. I never brought back a bunch of unuseable prints like my other colleagues did.

Title: Good solid frame, clears lens
Review: Nice and sturdy, clear lens with no optic waves or blemishes. The Fram is solid and better than some others I’ve gotten, I wish the cover wasn’t felt lined plastic vinyl, that seems to be the first fault of these pocket magnifiers

Title: Works for reading fine print; easy to carry
Review: I’ve been looking for a magnifying lens similar to this to use when I don’t have my reading glasses handy. I like using it to read the fine print on pill bottles and product information guides, etc, and for helping to see that occasional splinter I get so I can remove it more easily. It really comes in handy when reading restaurant menus with fine print too.This pocket magnifier measures about 3 inches at its widest point when folded. The cover looks to be a faux leather on the outside with a softer material on the inside, which helps in keeping the lens clean and scratch free. It’s very slightly padded too. The case also has a lanyard hole in it, with which you can attach a small chain, keyring, string, or something similar. It would have been nice to have something included, but at least I’m able to pick something of my choosing. The case has a notch that can help you grab the lens to rotate it out for use.The magnifying lens seems to have the same magnification on both sides. It’s framed with a border of hard black plastic. Mine came with some imperfections on the lens. I’m not sure if it’s residue or actually in the lens itself. It doesn’t rub off with my finger or fingernail. The magnification still works very well, though. It slides open pretty easily, but I need to use both hands.At its current price of $6.99, I would say you get what you pay for. It has a bit of a cheap feel, but the lens does work. I’m not sure if it’s 20x magnification. That seems like a lot and I have a feeling this doesn’t magnify to that degree, but it functions well enough for what I need it for. It’s lightweight and easy to carry too.

Title: Great for travel too!
Review: Every now and then, there is something that I really need to see more clearly, generally that small fine print on bottles in the pharmacy department. This pocket magnifier is perfect to slide into my bag for those times that reading the small print is important. This is an easy to use, easy to transport magnifier. This is well made and having this in a protective sleeve will keep this in good shape for a long time.The magnification level seems to be spot on for most needs.
