Title: Can Be Used For Crafting As Well
Review: The Fukaisu 250pcs Bump Dots for Visually Impaired came on 5 sheets of 50 each. Each dot type is vividly colored and distinctly shaped. The dots peel off the backing material easily and have a strong adhesive that should stick well to any surface. The yellow and green dots are the most similar in shape, but the bump sizes are different enough to tell them apart by touch alone.I stuck one slightly flat, black bump dot on my keyboard’s ‘W’ key to help keep my left hand orientated for gaming. It gives the key a unique feel, yet is flat enough not to affect my typing when not gaming.I do woodwork and enjoy making small boxes. These bump dots are perfect for adding fun and colorful protective feet to the boxes. Although the bright colors don’t match the wood grain, they are small enough not to be obvious when the box is upright.

Title: Do not stick well other than on microwave
Review: Please do not stick to much. Only adhered and stayed on the microwave. Tried it on the DirecTV remote and the landline telephone and they popped off I even tried to use super glue and that didn’t even stick.

Title: Great idea but could be much better
Review: These dots are a great idea to support those who are visually impaired, particularly in providing both different colors and different shapes/tactile feel depending on your vision situation. I do think these could have been executed better to make them more helpful to more people. Ideally they’d be in colors that are less apt to be difficult for those who are color-blind to differentiate (e.g., avoid the pairing of red/green, or blue/yellow). Also, the two smaller round dots are a tad tricky to differentiate, especially if you aren’t choosing between the two side by side, but have to identify either one in isolation; it’d be better to offer more shapes, like triangles or ovals, or mix up the texture, to make for easier differentiation. These stick pretty well so far, though one fell off its protective backing right after I removed the dots from the box (it’s possible it had already fallen off inside the box). Unfortunately, they noticeably off-gas, with a strong, lingering chemical smell, which surprised me as they are listed as silicone and I thought silicone tended to have less of an odor. They are also a tad tackier than I prefer, making them unpleasant to the touch. They feel like the type of silicone that will deteriorate and get super sticky over time. These could be a five-star product with a higher quality silicone and greater differentiation among the dots. I’d be willing to pay more for that. The current price of just under $8 for the set as is seems reasonable and makes it fairly accessible if you want to try them out.
