Title: Excellent Value!
Review: These were an excellent value. I found them to work as intended. With little or no effort to fold and unfold them. They are small enough to put in your front pocket. Because they are generally embedded in the case. When I do go to use them, they are smudge free. Very functional reading glasses that don’t break.

Title: compact enough to keep in my jeans pocket
Review: I am to the point where I can’t read anything (except billboards) without reading glasses. And, I don’t always have them with me. I got this 3-pack of folding reading glasses from Sophily with the hopes I’d be able to have some portable glasses to keep with me. I got this 3-pack in 2.0 which is what I need.These do fold quite small into a very compact case. It’s easily small enough for me to keep a pair in my jeans pockets when I go out.They take a minute to unfold and extend the side pieces, but worth it to be able to read a menu or receipt if I need to. It is a bit of a challenge to do that without smudging up the lenses, but it’s possible.The nose piece isn’t cushioned at all. It’s not the most comfortable for long-term use. But, for the quick job of reading something, these work great.I’m really happy to have 3 sets of these. I will probably keep a pair in the car and in my pants or jacket.

Title: Super-handy for travel, not great for long-term wear
Review: So if I were rating these only for what I bought them for, these would get 5 stars. These compact readers can be kept anywhere and brought out in emergencies. I only recently started needing readers for everything, so I’m trying to figure out how to keep them with me at all times, without constantly having glasses tucked in my shirt. These fold up very compactly in their little case, and that case is sturdy! I can keep these in my back pants pocket without worrying that they will get crushed. Unfolding them is simple, but there’s a little bit of stiffness.Because of the folding compactness, there are some trade-offs in terms of comfort. The telescoping temples press against the side of my head in a way that traditional ear loops do not. And the nose pads are made of metal and dig into the bridge of the nose. So these are great to have available in emergencies, but not something I would use for long-term or all-day use. Regular plastic readers are better for that, I have those for daily computer use or bedtime reading.All in all, these are perfect for travel and having extra glasses available where you might not remember to bring them. I’m putting one in my car and one in my travel bag, just to make sure I always have a pair of readers available.

Title: Excellent portable readers
Review: These unfold, then the temples telescope out. They are very easy to set up and put away. The ones I got are clear, have the correct magnification, and no wavering in the glass. Durability-wise, if you’re gentle with them, they’ll last a while. Not super delicate, but all the moving parts will tend to wear over time. The thing I had to watch most was not catching the ends of the temples while closing them up.They are definitely not uncomfortable, but I also wouldn’t wear them for regular, long-term computer work. I have personally fitted featherweight ones for that. These, however, are absolutely perfect for menus, ingredient lists at the grocery store, or any portable on-the-go short-term usage.I love the cases. They’re good, thick plastic, lined with thin velvet to protect the lenses, and close with a magnet and a nice click. They’re about the same size, shape, and opening/closing mechanism as a Zippo lighter, which I find very satisfying. Strong enough to be tossed in any bag, glove box, or even a toolbox in the top section.My favourite portable/collapsable glasses I’ve tried so far, hands down.

Title: Small and portable. Not much else.
Review: These are definitely useful. They fold up small and easily and the hard magnetic case is sleek and closes tight. These are good for storing in your jacket if you need to read a menu. But the lens and frames are both very low quality. Seems like they would bend or break easily. They’re extremely uncomfortable to wear, as well, and they don’t fit on my face properly. They’re too easy to drop for how flimsy they are!
