Title: Bright, effective
Review: Not sure what happened to the box prior to shipping…. However that did not affect anything inside. I got this to help see our biopsies (animal clinic). We take incredibly small pieces, and want to ensure the tissue makes it into our cassettes. Worked out great today!

Love the magnifying as well as the small inset ‘extra’ magnifier. The lights are easy to work with just the push of a button have different levels of brightness. It does have to be plugged in to run – and uses a USB cord but the cord and the plug-in come with it.Super fast and easy to put together, just screw it into the base and put the little clamp on. Moves easily and seems to stay in place well.

Title: Saved my soldering project just in time
Review: This magnifying light totally saved my soldering project. I was building a small FM radio kit and just couldn’t see a tiny surface-mounted 16-pin IC very well anymore. A handheld magnifier didn’t work because I needed both hands free.The base is heavy and keeps the lamp very stable. The lighting is bright and even, with 10X magnification and a 30X spot lens that made the tiny pins easy to see. I was able to spot two bad connections, fix them, and finally finish the circuit.I also like the five color modes and brightness adjustment, and it even comes with a power adapter, which a lot of similar products don’t include! I honestly don’t think I could have finished this project without it, and I’m really happy with this purchase.
