Title: Saved my daily work meetings
Review: My headset microphone had gotten bent and was cutting in and out. People on my team were complaining. So I ordered this and set it on my desk. I like that it can be disabled/enabled via touch, and I love that it’s very obvious when it is on or off. The usb connection works great, and was immediately detected by my windows 11 system. The audio was also very good, and I received no complaints from anyone on my team. They all noted that it was a great improvement over my old headset mic. Highly recommended!

Title: Doesn’t pick up higher pitched voices very well

Title: Great for conference calls and online meetings
Review: This microphone does a sufficient job for its price point. I tested it with Teams, Zoom, Sound recorder, and PowerPoint, sound quality is sufficient in a non-production environment where the only thing people really care about is sound clarity, which it does a good job by reducing background noise and make the speaker’s voice stand out.Do not expect the quality from a condenser mic! If you try to record songs with it, you will be underwhelmed because that’s not what this device is for (yes, I did try using it to record a song.)No setup is needed – plug and play, simple and straightforward. The only control this mic has is “on” (blue light) and “mute” (red light), by touching ANYWHERE on the mic. It is very sensitive to the touch and can be accidentally muted. I made this mistake when I first tried to record a sample, but ended with total silence. I initially thought the device was defective but then saw the red light.I can see this device serve as a better conference mic compared to using a laptop’s mic, as this mic is omnidirectional so people can sit around it.

Title: compact with great sound quality
Review: This is a pretty small microphone, about the size of a large piece of ravioli, but with a pretty long USB-A cable. I tested it with my Windows PC and it was completely Plug-and-Play. I tested my voice from various directions, and all of them were very clear. Perhaps you want something directional, so you don’t catch unwanted voices, such as my kids in my case. If that’s the case, though, you get something like a headset microphone or a podcast microphone instead of a conference microphone. This works in the intended fashion, and sometimes this makes sense like if I’m videoconferencing with my parents and want them to hear all my kids. For business, this would make sense if you’re in a conference room. The aesthetics of the product are also good, and the size is really convenient and makes it portable. The price is fine, so I think this is worth buying if you are in the market for a conference microphone.
