Title: It works! But is not gritty or pasty
Review: I use this cream while caring for my 97 yr old mother. I apply it nightly to prevent her skin from breaking down. I like that it is not too thick or pasty, and rubs in well. But it also works! Thus far, she has not had any redness or breakdown on her skin, even though she does frequently have accidents. Would recommend this product to ANYONE that is caring for the elderly of disabled

Title: Good for sensitivities to adhesives
Review: Works great, I have sensitivitys to adhesives and this helped me be able to use kt tape, its not perfect I still had a few hives especially along the corners/sides of where my tape was but no blistering like I normally get, tape stills well to it just make sure you gotta rub the tape down for a while it for want it to last a few days since its not going to be as well as skin

Review: I’m allergic to certain adhesives like the type used on KT Tape and certain medical tapes. I used this barrier cream to prevent a rash on my skin where the KT tape has been applied. It says to use sparingly, and I can’t stress enough that a little bit goes a long way. It says fragrance free but there is a slight smell to it, not medicinal and not overpowering. I will say that the tape doesn’t adhere to the skin quite as strong and not sure if that will affect the performance of the KT tape but it sure does beat a rash on my skin if I don’t use the barrier cream.

Title: Magical!
Review: Game changer! I had a surgery and they covered me in adhesive. I broke out in the worst hives around the surgical site which lead to additional surgeries. I’ve always had a mild adhesive allergy, but found out I’m super allergic to tegaderm. I wish I had found this product before surgery. I would have demanded they use it under any adhesives, it could have saved me a whole infection at the surgical site. I used it after that struggle when I have had to use adhesives since the surgeries and I have ZERO skin irritation. It is magical!

Title: Disappointed in how thin this is….
Review: I have used another brand for several years, when they changed the packaging (tubes it canes in), I came here after much searching.This doesn’t have the staying power they claim it does. Thin is not better. A reviewer mentioned how a “Little goes a long way”. This is not a good thing. It goes a long way because it is very thinned down compared to what I was using. I rubs off on my clothes so fast, I couldn’t believe it. I mixed it with the other brand and it’s better, but this just isn’t protecting that pressure wound. It is good for other things, but will. It serve its purpose with me. I guess this is a good reason why the hospital ICU gave me that other brand. I have now purchased cosmetic bottles to store the cream in, allowing me to use the other brand, by skipping the tubes used. I’m going back to what works. I had high hopes for this with all the bragging adds that says it resists wearing off. Don’t buy that line. It’s simply not true, this wears off within 15 to 20 minutes. I have to apply it over, and over, and over. Done!!This gets three stars for other purposes. I don’t recommend for a pressure sore or wound care.
