Title: Helpful for many conditions
Review: My dad needed utilities that helped him eat his meals. These make it easier for him. The bent degree is enough for him not to have to turn his wrist so much. He is able to get the food to his mouth without spilling his food. This product would work for multiple conditions: Parkinson’s, Palsy, Carpel tunnel. It is a good quality and able to go in the dishwasher. The handle is large and ridged for ease of use. Get this for yourself or your loved one.

Title: Great for Elderly who need help feeding themselves
Review: Works very well for my 90 y/o father who has a lot of dexterity problems but is still fiercely independent, insists on feeding himself. A bit $$, but I don’t have a bunsen burner to warp my own utensils.

Title: Great weighted utensils for persons with disabilities
Review: These are great utensils for people with various disabilities or tremors. My sister, who had severe arthritis, had used something similar years ago. So when my husband developed dementia with tremors, I went to Amazon and found these. It’s necessary for me to continually remind him to grip them with his FIST, so they are pointed directly at his mouth. However, someone with better cognition might just need a little time to adjust to the proper hold! They are very sturdy, with a good balance in the handle weight. I have noticed, however, the edges of the fork tines are just a little rough, but not uncomfortably so! I wash them by hand (because he needs them for each meal and I don’t run the dishwasher that often), so I can’t speak to how they hold up after dishwashing. They have been very helpful for assisting him in getting food to his mouth with less drop off. I will probably buy another set to keep in the car to use away from home!

Title: Life changing tool for eating
Review: We bought this for a friend who has difficulty eating because of her wrist pain. As soon as she tried eating with these, she expressed relief and gratitude. Now the daily task of eating is much easier for her. Very happy with it.

Title: Ok
Review: They were probably good for another person but they were way too heavy for my Dad.

Title: Fabulous! Not weighted, great for those with limited strength!
Review: Perfection! Not weighted, with good sized grips and the correct angle!I have tried countless other utensils to help my elderly relative who has severe arthritis, dementia and osteoporosis, and none of them worked; they were all way too heavy or were shaped wrong. These are NOT weighted, and they are PERFECT.Easily grabbed, easily held, easily washed, food stays on the utensil and actually makes it into the mouth; their angle is ideal for those who have problems bending their wrists, hands and fingers. My relative can feed herself now, and that has done a lot for her self esteem. Mealtimes are better! Thank you, BaseSmall!!! If I could give these more stars, I would!(If you want weighted adaptive flatware, this is not what you’re looking for; but there are millions of other listings for those- keep looking!)

Review: These are good quality utensils, with a comfortable non-stop grip. I’m a woman but have big hands and it was very comfortable to hold. The weight is also accurate – each utensil weighing roughly 130g-140g.I got these for a family friend that was searching for something to help her aging mom at mealtimes. So far, they seem to like it, but as another user mentioned, it does depend on each person’s individual motor skills and struggles.
