Title: Nice Unit, But Failed After 6 weeks.
Review: We initially liked the magnifying glass, but 6 weeks later we found that the light no longer works. I figured it needed to be recharged, but it won’t take a charge, the charge light never comes on, so at this point we are disappointed in the reliability of this unit.Update: The company reached out to us regarding our failed unit and asked for a picture showing the failure of the unit not charging. We did as instructed. As a result, they sent us out a new one immediately. We are pleasantly surprised at the integrity of the seller to make this right. As a result, we are changing our review to 5 stars.

Review: The piece is weighted well with a large lens circumference. The 45x magnification is far better than the standard 30x. The three different light types are very useful for different surface details such embossed or impressed markings. Cable recharging is convenient and better than dealing with dead and/or corroded batteries.

Title: To many light options for our needs
Review: Purchased for an elderly friend w advanced macular degeneration. Hard to find a 45+ x magnifier with a light that is hand held. Most have the higher magnification in just one small circle area of entire lens. This does have lots of light options (6) and some are very bright. Due to her vision it is difficult for her to navigate thru all light options. You also have to go through them all to shut off. Charging does take a bit but so far it is ok for her. Wouldn’t buy again unless lighting options changed. Would be nice to find a 45x or higher hand held magnifier w just one bright light w a one button on and off option.
