Title: Good for so many things! Best one for the price!!
Review: Awesome little unit! I was surprised to find out it has a battery so you can use it virtually anywhere. I thought it had to be plugged in when I purchased it. So I could safely say it exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Great quality screen, it focuses really well and you can get extremely close up to even the smallest objects. Best quality for the buck! You can’t find better!!

Title: Worth it
Review: Good little scope. Works well for hdmi repair and tiny little cap repair. There are better scopes but not for this process. You won’t be disappointed.

Title: Well worth the money for entry level microscope for light work or fun
Review: Works amazingly well, I admit I was skeptical, but it has been quite fun to play with a show family/friends things under the microscope. Had success using this to replace a ps5 hdmi port. Shocking high magnification for the price, and decently clear image on screen. It does have a picture and video function with included 32Gb sd card which I have not used but seems to function.

Title: Well worth the price
Review: I’m pleased with this digital microscope. At $65 It was half the price of the next cheapest articulating-arm microscope and, despite flaws, it exceeded my expectations.The arm is lightweight but way stiffer than expected and does not have issues moving undesirably during use. Clarity is good. Magnification level is “adjusted” by physically moving the camera closer or father from the object, with the dial tuning the focus (very narrow like with any microscope).I thought “1000x” magnification would be plenty, but it’s really not quite enough for working with 0201 SMT components. I had the microscope as close as I could to the board to still have room for soldering iron (to the point that I slightly melted the edge of the clear plastic protector) and was barely able to see well enough to change out some of these tiny resistors. It’s fine for 0402’s though, which are already smaller than a sane hobbyist would use.It can be connected to a computer as a 720p webcam (which I did test successfully), but only with the included USB cable. The device does not have real USB-C, just USB2 hiding in a USB-C shaped port. It will not do anything but charge from a PC with a real USB3 to USB-C cable. It won’t even charge off a real USB-C charger and, of course, won’t display video over a USB-C to HDMI video cable. There are no other video output options, so it cannot directly drive a larger monitor.I saw some reviews mention an included 32GB SD card – mine did not come with any SD card. That’s just informational, not a con since the listing did not claim to include one nor did I expect it to.Built in lighting worked fine and sufficiently illuminated objects under magnification. Battery life was again plenty. It can also be used while plugged in (but will turn off when power is removed – can be turned right back on).

Review: Excellent price point and product design for its intended audience and use. I’m using mine for circuit board repair–soldering/desoldering failed components. The extensible arm while small is nevertheless substantial and delivers a significant advantage over competing products with fixed beds.
