Title: Does not fit my Oticon hearing aid as advertised.
Review: The Amazon description and packaging indicate the item will fit the in-ear speaker component of my Oticon (85) hearing aid, but it does not. I realize it has to be a snug fit for the in-ear speaker component, but the rectangular retention tails sleeves are too rigid and not flexible enough to slip-fit over my Oticon (85) in-ear speaker. Putting the retention tails in warm water to soften the sleeve did not work. Not compatible with Oticon 85db hearing aids as advertised by Amazon.

Review: These sports locks are exactly what I needed for my Oticon hearing aids. They fit perfectly over the receivers and speakers, creating a snug hold that keeps the aids from loosening or falling out. It’s such a relief not having to constantly adjust them while moving around, running, or exercising. They stay in place without affecting the sound or comfort at all.The pack of six is great and gives me plenty of spares so I don’t have to worry about running out or waiting for replacements. Review: The Gulfmew 6 pack sports lock is a set of replacement parts for most Oticon and Phillips 85 power receivers. THE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH INTENT DEVICES.The sport locks are around 2.5 inches long and have an adjustable wing that can be curled to fit most ears. The portion that attaches to the receiver is curved with the tail “offset” to one side (should be placed farthest away from the dome.The pieces are well made and seem identical to the originals. They curl well and can be cut down as needed.It should be noted that Oticon/Phillips/Demand have different sizes for their receivers, so this needs to go on a receiver that has an orange label with an “85” in the middle of it. Also of note: THE INTENT RECIEVER WILL LOOK IDENTICAL BUT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THESE LOCKS.The quickest way to tell if these are compatible with your devices is to look at the buttons on your hearing aid. If the button on the back resembles a shark fin , then these are not compatible. If the button is near the bottom of the hearing aid or has 2 buttons: it’s compatible.Overall, the sports locks work as intended. They are durable and close to the original parts. The value is debatable, as the plastic lasts for a long time, but the upfront cost is more than expected.Due to the high quality but also high price point: these sport locks get 4 stars.

Title: Better than the originals
Review: These sports locks fit my Oticon 85 dB hearing aids exactly as described. The ear grip slides easily over the receiver and wraps neatly around the speaker, creating a snug and secure fit without affecting sound. Once in place, they feel well matched to the hearing aid design and do not feel bulky or awkward in the ear. I like them better than the original sports locks that came with this hearing aid because they are heavier and stay in my ear better.The pack includes six retention tails, which I really liked since it means having extras on hand for future replacements. They work well during normal daily wear as well as when I am more active. I noticed I did not need to keep adjusting my hearing aids, and they stayed in place whether I was walking, running errands, or moving around outdoors.The material feels soft and gentle, even with extended wear. I did not experience irritation or discomfort, and the smooth surface makes them comfortable inside the ear. Installation is simple and does not require tools, and cleaning is easy with a damp cloth.
