Title: Works great!
Review: The “COLIJOY” branded Motion Sensor Cabinet Light (4200mAh version) works great and offers ample battery charge for daily use. I have one in a closet and another in a cabinet. The motion sensor is the basic type typical of the price range, but works very well for the application. The ON time after the light senses motion is short and not adjustable, but it will stay on if it continues to sense movement. Best guess for brightness is somewhere between 40-60 lumens (perhaps roughly that of a 10W household lamp.)

Title: Amazing with strong retention
Review: These lights are awesome and outperform other lights on Amazon. The superior battery life and magnet retention are a plus. I highly recommend these!

Title: Bought and tested several battery motion LED lights and kept this one
Review: So this light has 3 color temperatures; what I’ll call 3000K, 5000K, 7000K. The 3k and 7K are separate LED’s. The 5K are a combination of the 3K and 7K. So if you go with the 5K temp you are using double the # of LED’s and this doubles the brightness (double to power consumption too). Bottom line if you want the brightest light output choose the middle 5K color temp. I just tested several different battery LED motion lights and these were the brightest when the 5K color temp was selected. 3K uses 50 LED’s, 7K uses 50 LEDs, BUT 5K uses BOTH the 3K and 7K for 100 LEDS.One issue is the motion seems to be disabled when other light is detected. So if you want these to activate with ambient light I’m not seeing a setting to allow that. Although I have seen other reviewers on other lights pop the lens cover off and place tape on the light sensor so the light thinks it’s dark all the time allowing the motion sensor to activate the light in any light condition. Some may think these are defective since they won’t motion activate with ambient light, but take them in a dark area and they should work fine. These do seem the heaviest of the several I’ve tried even in different sizes which indicate to me these probably are using the 4200 mah batteries advertised. There are 2 exposed magnets on the back of the light which are plenty strong enough to attach to metal surfaces or to the metal adhesives discs included. If the batteries hold up and you don’t need daylight motion activation without modification, these appear to be a solid choice.

Title: Intuitive and user friendly, and well worth the money
Review: I bought a pair of these to try under our upper kitchen cabinets, and the worked great! I bought a second brand of similar lights to compare the two, and returned the other brand because the controls were confusing and I knew that once the user manual was thrown away, I’d have difficulty remembering how to access all of the features. I returned the other brand, even though it contained three strip lights for about the same cost as the two-pack of Colijoy lights that I’d purchased. I’ve since bought two more pair of these lights for my kitchen and storage shed, and I feel like they’re a huge improvement to our kitchen. The color temp and brightness adjustments work well, and the warm setting is nice and inviting for under-cabinet lighting in our kitchen. The lighting is even, with no hot-spots, and certainly bright enough for the purpose, even at less than full brightness. The sensors are maybe not as sensitive as I might have hoped. I marked the “motion detection” a 4-star rating, while the brightness and ease of install as 5-stars. I had hoped it could detect motion in our kitchen from several feet away, and it does work somewhat well in a completely pitch dark kitchen to activate lights when you walk within a few feet of the fixtures, but with any other lights on in the kitchen you need to pretty much waive your hand under the light to get it to activate. The other brand that I returned purported to have both day or night activation modes, which I presume just modulates the sensitivity of the sensor. I don’t know how well that works on the competition’s light, but it’s a feature that might be nice to have on these lights as well.My one other suggestion would be that they add an adjustable duration control for the light activation between sensing motion. 25 seconds may be great for conserving battery, but it’s a little distracting having to walk back and forth across the kitchen and waive my hand to reactivate them when we’re working in there. The work-around is to simply switch them from the “auto” to the “on” setting when you need usable task lighting for meal prep or something, but I would prefer having a 1 minute or even 5 minute interval for activation so they weren’t constantly flipping on and off, even if it meant having to recharge them every other week or something. Other than that, I think they’re probably about as good a product within this category as one could expect.

Title: Do not buy
Review: You will find I am writing a REVIEW I should have read in Oct 2024. Exact same experience.I bought these lights due to the high lumens and extra large battery, compared to other competitors. I installed them above the kitchen sink and set them on auto. The sensor worked great, only turning the lights on when it was dim lighting and when movement was detected, the lights were bright and the battery life lasted over a month. Eventually, the batteries depleted, no big deal, and I connected them to a wall charger to recharge. After charging on a regular, not fast charging, wall charger both lights went haywire. They refuse to stay on but instead perform a constant flickering. I figured that maybe the charger or outlet I used did not charge the batteries properly so I swapped out 3 different wall chargers on 3 different outlets and the lights still won’t work properly. Moral of the story, these lights are good for the initial charge and then are absolute trash. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT AS IT IS SINGLE USE!!

Title: The motion sensors are not the strongest
Review: While these lamps are good overall, the motion sensors seem to catch movement only from one side. Additionally, the lamps go off in 15 seconds, so if you are still staining there with little to no movement they just go off. Now, for some it is fine. And it is possible to just turn it on, it is not why we got it. The magnets hold really well, and it is very easy to take the lamps off to charge. They do take a loooong time to charge though. Not sure how long those last yet. Haven’t paid much attention these few weeks we’ve had these. You can also change the light color, so it’s great.
