Title: You can’t teach an old dog new tricks
Review: After using my hands for over 30 years of wearing contact lenses, I was curious how these tools could make it any faster or easier for me to put in or remove my contacts. The package came with six sets, I am guessing to keep at different places (work, home school, etc). There are a pair of plastic tweezers and a little plunger tool.Using the plunger tool I took about 5 minutes to put the contact on it and in my eye. I could have normally had my contacts in and had a snack by that time. Then, one look at the tweezers and I decided I am better off sticking my dirty fingers in my eye lol. Hard no.So after only willfully testing half of the tools, because they just ..weren’t easier for me to use, I decided it was just easier and faster to continue washing my hands and sticking my fingers in my eye.So, are they functional? Sure. And I like the portability of them. But not to anyone who has been doing just fine the traditional way for decades. Are they durable? Eh, debatable. Easy to use? Not for me. Overall, I will give them 4 stars and take some accountability for my stubbornness to try new things.

Title: Learning curve to put lenses on. Could not use this to remove them.
Review: This is one of those things that sounds great in theory but is a little hit or miss in practice. The suction tool didn’t really work for me when it came to actually removing lenses. I gave it multiple tries and it just wouldn’t grab the lens. The tweezers + suction combo worked better for inserting, but there’s definitely a learning curve. It’s not something you’ll pick up instantly. After a few attempts it got easier, but it still feels a bit more involved than just using your fingers. The one real advantage is cleanliness. If you’ve ever dealt with lint or random fuzz getting into your contacts, this does help avoid that since you’re not touching them directly. For the price, it’s fine to try, but I wouldn’t rely on it as your main method unless you really get used to it.
