Title: Great light and super magnification
Review: This works wonderfully for doing my counted crossstitch projects. The light is very bright and the magnifying is a blessing!

Title: Difficult to “wear”
Review: While I love the adjustability of the wired “neck hook”, it is almost impossible to find the “balance point” where the weight of the light doesn’t tip the whole thing forward at the most inopportune times! As for the rest of the “negatives”, the battery life is sadly short, it often fades to dim on me while I work on my cross stitch (I do this for an hour or less before bed every night) and requires charging after every use!Now for the “good” parts! At max brightness, it is wonderful for working on things at night while my husband is asleep next to me in bed. Since I have trouble sleeping, being able to work on a “screen free” project for an hour or so when I can’t sleep helps me to fall back to sleep faster. I often get stuck “doom scrolling” on my phone and end up not sleeping at all on nights when I opt for my cell phone at night. The magnification is perfect for my “old” eyes while working on stamped or counted cross-stitch!My “wish list” items for improvements…I do wish that the glass was a little larger, but the size is good for what it is. There should also be a counterweight on the back to help keep the magnifying glass in position.Overall very useful, but there could be a few improvements.

Title: Great neck mirror-Great price!
Review: This magnifying mirror is fairly solid, and I really appreciate the light feature! I use it for sewing because my machine’s light isn’t very bright, and the magnification makes sewing much easier. It’s well-constructed, and the clip that secures the magnifying mirror to the base is thoughtfully designed. The gooseneck is long and very flexible, but I found it challenging to position it exactly as needed. Once I got it into the right shape and placement, it stayed in place, which is a major plus!I experimented with using it on the table and around the sewing machine. Although I managed to keep the mirror standing up, it didn’t stay upright for long before tipping over. It seems that the design works best when worn around the neck. I also think this placement is more appropriate because I found it difficult to get the magnifying mirror into focus when it wasn’t at neck level. I’m not sure if it was too strong for me or if the positioning was the issue. On the bright side, the light is fantastic! I love how bright it is, and it appears to last a while on a single charge. Overall, I’d recommend this magnifying mirror; it’s a quality mirror at a very reasonable price.

Title: A bit difficult to use
Review: It is a bit awkward and clumsy for my elderly mom. The cord is very long. Perhaps We nwed to learn how to use it. I thought it would help for her macular degeneration but it didnt. I will 7se it for embroidery though.

Title: Ideal 6X Magnification and Handy Long Neck for Comfortable Use
Review: The light is bright and easy on the eyes. The 6X magnification is just right, allowing me to focus easily. With higher magnifications like 10X or 20X, it can become very tricky to maintain focus, and even slight movements can make you feel uncomfortable. The 6X is a perfect balance that keeps everything stable. The neck strap is very flexible and a bit long, but that’s actually helpful because once I adjust the angle of the magnifier to match my posture and what I’m working on, I can remove it from my neck and place it on the table without losing that angle. This means when I put it back on, it’s ready to use right away with no need to adjust again. I use it for nail care and making accessories, and the lens is very clear with no distortion. I also love that the magnifier can be removed from the neck holder and used as a handheld lens. The rechargeable feature is great since I don’t need to worry about batteries, and it keeps it lighter. Well worth the price!

Title: Read Before You Buy
Review: I am really torn about how to rate this magnifier. In the package was the magnifier, a polishing cloth for cleaning it, a usb-c cable for charging its battery (no charger, however), and the “strap” for around your neck. The people in the Amazon ad showing the magnifier must be very tiny, because their magnifier appears to be about 8″ in diameter. The one I received is 5 1/2″ from side to side, and its frame is about 1.4″ on each side, so the actual viewing area is 5″. The lens does magnify and seems to be distortion free. The gooseneck “strap” can be used around the neck or can be bent into shape to stand and hold the magnifier. The LEDs provide a lot of light for an object placed below the lens. I do find the strap to be quite heavy to wear, and a little cumbersome to bend into a comfortable shape while I am wearing it. When you receive this thing, the instructions advise you to fully charge the battery before use. There are also warnings not to leave the lens anywhere that it might be in full sunlight because it could start a fire by concentrating the sunlight onto whatever is under it. And finally, there is the issue of storage. You could easily tuck the lens into a drawer, but the “strap” is big and heavy and stiff. I am thinking I may hang mine from a hook somewhere.

Title: Wear or stand…
Review: In my middle-aged crafting days, I find that I am having a harder time with done detail work, especially with miniatures that I make.I got this wearable lighted magnifying lamp in to assist with that and was pleasantly surprised that not only can this be worn around your neck, bit of positioning it correctly (see photos), of can also be used as a standing magnifying lamp. The light is bright without being blinding. Holding the power button down either raises of lowers the brightness, with the default being mid-bright.The construction of the lamp is solid and charges via USB. The bendable main structure is comfortable, but may be a little heavy for some. I like it more the tabletop option since I do fine detail crafting, but it does have to be positioned just right for this to work.A good, solid magnifying lamp. Please read the instructions as to glare and how to reduce haloing.
