Title: Genuinely surprised. Works quite well.
Review: It’s $60 so wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually quite good. Camera has a good responsiveness and you can magnify quite a bit. PC connection works well too – though it reports as 1280-720 which is likely the true resolution of the camera. Still, am able to get clear pics/videos of SMD components and the focus works well too. Only downside I’ve seen so far is the lowering knob has a low manufacturing tolerance so it can vibrate when lowering – you need to lock it in place after you move it to the correct height.

Title: great microscope
Review: This is actually a nice little microscope. Especially for the price. It’s actually shocking how close you can zoom in and what this thing can do. I like the extra lights on it. I like that you can connect it with your phone or a computer. I like that you can record video, and I like that it uses a memory card. I don’t like when little items like this force you to plug it directly into your phone or computer. So I’m pretty much impressed with this, and like I said, for the price, it was steel.
