7 Ongoing Recalls You Should Know About This Week

No matter how meticulous you might be when you choose what to purchase, product recalls are occasionally unavoidable. While the severity of a recall can vary depending on whether the product is contaminated with bacteria or a foreign object, or if it’s a simple labeling error, it’s important to know if a recall impacts a product you have in your kitchen. 

Here are seven ongoing recalls that were announced in late July and early August—and what to do if you have the recalled item.

Ongoing Grocery Recalls This Week

Member’s Mark Freeze Dried Fruit 

Walmart recently announced a recall on its Sam’s Club private label Member’s Mark Freeze Dried Fruit due to a Listeria contamination. The freeze-dried fruit was sold at Sam’s Club stores in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming between July 1 and July 25, 2025.

The recalled product can be identified by its UPC 1 93968 50900 2, lot codes, and best-by dates between June 24, 2027, and July 25, 2027. If you consumed the product, you should monitor yourself for Listeria symptoms, which can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, stiff neck, loss of balance, and muscle aches. 

While there haven’t been any reports of Listeria infections at this time, older adults, those with weakened immune systems, and pregnant individuals and their newborns are at risk of developing severe and sometimes fatal infections.

Schnucks Frozen Tortellini 

Bags of frozen tortellini sold at Schnucks stores in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin are the subject of a public health alert after the package was found to contain frozen toasted ravioli. The frozen ravioli contains sesame and soy, two known allergens; however, the presence of these ingredients is not listed on the packaging, which could be potentially life-threatening for those with allergies or sensitivities. 

The 16-ounce bags of Schnucks Tortellini Pork & Beef have a best-by date of May 27, 2026, and the establishment number “EST. 13051.”

High Noon Vodka Seltzers

Select High Noon Beach Variety Packs, as well as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, have been recalled after the energy drink was found to contain vodka seltzer. The alcohol-containing Celsius cans were sold in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and can be identified by the silver lid, instead of Celsius’ signature black lid.

High Noon is advising customers who have the recalled Celsius cans to dispose of them and contact its customer service at [email protected] for further information.

Ham Salad

Following the massive tuna salad recall in July, Reser’s Fine Foods and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued a public health alert for select ham salad products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The ready-to-eat ham salad contains the same recalled bread crumbs, which were produced by Newly Weds Food, as the tuna salad and were recalled due to a Listeria contamination. 

The impacted products were sold under the names “Reser’s Fine Foods Ham Salad” and “Molly’s Kitchen Ham Salad” and can be identified via best-by date. The Reser’s Fine Foods Ham Salad has a sell-by date of Sept. 1, 2025, and the Molly’s Kitchen Ham Salad has a sell-by date of Aug. 31, 2025.

If you consumed the impacted ham salad, you should monitor yourself for Listeria symptoms, as well as ensure you sanitize any surface that the ham salad may have touched—including your fridge.

Frigidaire Minifridges

Curtis International issued a recall for Frigidaire-branded minifridges due to an electrical concern that poses a fire and burn risk. The more than 600,000 recalled fridges have internal electrical components that can short-circuit—and have already been the cause of more than $700,000 worth of property damage. 

Curtis International received at least 26 reports of the fridges “smoking, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, and catching fire,” leading to property damage and two smoke inhalation injuries. 

The minifridges were sold at Walmart and on Amazon between January 2020 and December 2023 and can be identified via the model number and serial number on the back.

If you have the recalled fridge, you are urged to stop using it and request a refund.

Hillside Orchard Farms Bread

Hillside Orchard Farms has issued a recall for 14 of its bread products because the label does not contain an allergen warning for egg, which can lead to a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. 

The breads and fritters were sold at farmers’ markets and roadside stands in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina between November 18, 2024, and July 16, 2025. The recalled products all have use-by dates through July 23, 2025, but the product may still be in consumers’ freezers. 

The recalled breads can be identified by name and lot code, listed on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) site.

Bunge European Style Butter Blend

Bunge North America initiated a recall for more than 64,000 pounds of its European Style Butter Blend for an undeclared allergen on July 14. The FDA recently classified the recall as “Class II,” meaning that consuming the butter “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.”

The butter, which was sent to 12 distribution centers throughout the U.S., includes milk, but the allergen is not listed on the label, which could lead to serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if consumed by those with a milk allergy or sensitivity. The recalled Bunge butter can be identified via the UPC 1 00 78684 73961 2 and lot code 5064036503.

If you have the butter and a milk allergy or sensitivity, you should not consume it. However, if you don’t have a milk allergy, you do not need to do anything regarding this recall.
