Review: These are really cheap and simple, but just what we needed to brighten some dark steps. Motion activated and battery powered they are surprisingly bright when on, and turn off automatically after a minute of no motion. We’ve placed them along every other step leading down to the dark basemen where shadows make the trip trickyt, but with double-sided tape they can stick anywhere. Pro tip, they’re not just for steps you can use them in a dark room or closet or garage to help locate switches and emergency items when the power goes out. Also bright enough to act as a small night light in bathrooms and baby / kids rooms so they can turn them on easily for a little reassurance when needed.They do take 3 AAA batteries, so stock up, especially since these packages come with 8 devices, which makes the price very reasonable.

Review: They work well, once I re-read the Amazon description about having to only operate them in the dark. The 2”x3” “manual” that comes with the lights fails to mention it. Sensitivity to motion is good. Stay on for 20 seconds then go out. So bright, we’ll only use 4 of the 8 pack o stairs.

Review: Terrible product. I installed these in my stairs, and only hang when at any given time. Those that do work turn on after such a long delay that they are useless. They have made the stairs more dangerous. I cannot remove them as they rip the paint right off even after only being on the wall for five minutes. Very disappointing – i cannot even return them as the refund isn’t worth patching and painting the wall.
