Title: Work great
Review: I hadn’t replaced my phones for about 10 years and the batteries were shot. This has vibrant colors and it makes it easy to see who didn’t put the phone up lol. I like VTech phones they work great and the last set held up 10 years..probably could have just replaced the batteries but this was a good deal. I do like the spam warning on numbers I don’t recognize. It has the answering machine so I can screen my calls. I really like these phones they are not complicated and easy to use. Volume is good. It’s easy to see who called last. Set up is simple just plug them in.

Title: Works as advertised.
Review: Somewhat complicated to set up, but that is true of most portable phone systems. Once set up, the phone system worked well. The on sale price was also good.

Title: can’t read the screen, as it is too small and not bright enough
Review: Sorry to say, it isn’t nearly as good as my old panasonic that finally wore out. It was easy enough to set up even though directions were on one large sheet with many folds, so it was hard to locate specific directions.The biggest disappointment is that the screen is SMALL and on dim side. Almost impossible to read most of the time. May be OK for younger people with better eyesight–definitely not for seniors. The voice quality is also little tinny. But, It wasn’t too expensive and it was on sale after Thanksgiving. So far it works as a landline, but I tend to be old school and depend on a landline more than most. I will probably use it for awhile, then toss it.

Title: Nice inexpensive set of phones!
Review: DId some reading and research before I purchased and these were rated as high as any of the more expensive brands. I liked that they were color matched (phone and base) there are quite a few options when you read the instructions. I bought them for my 80 y/o sister to replace an old set. They all ring so that is nice, you can hear the message and the person talking from quite a distance. Enough for now, she hasn’t had them for too long so I don’t want to talk to longevity. If need be I will leave more feedback.

Title: Disappointed by Both the Product and Presentation
Review: It’s rare that I feel compelled to write a review, but my experience with the VTech CS6529-2 DECT 6.0 Phone Answering System warrants commentary. Unfortunately, this product failed on nearly every level—from initial presentation to functionality.First, the packaging was a clear indication of what was to come. The unit appeared to have been used and carelessly thrown into a box, as if an afterthought. Upon unboxing, I discovered the handsets were filthy, with visible grime that suggested no attempt had been made to clean or inspect the product before shipping. The lack of basic quality control here is both baffling and unacceptable, especially for an item advertised as new.Second, the product itself was completely nonfunctional. The listing claimed the battery would fully charge in 30 minutes. After hours of charging, the handset remained inert. This was not just an inconvenience but a glaring failure of the device to meet even the most basic expectations. A cordless phone system that doesn’t charge is, by definition, useless.Lastly, the entire experience was emblematic of negligence. The product not only arrived in a deplorable state but also proved incapable of performing its primary function. This is not merely an issue of receiving a defective unit; it’s a reflection of systemic disregard for customers and the quality of the products being sold.For a brand like VTech, which has built a reputation on reliability and functionality, this is deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a phone system that meets even the most minimal standards of cleanliness, functionality, and quality control.Rating: 1/5If I could give zero stars, I would.
