There’s an active recall on frozen chicken nuggets sold across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. This is due to bone fragments found in the product.
The Swiss Chalet brand chicken breast nuggets were sold in 700-gram boxes with a printed UPC of “066701011479” and best-by dates of September 7, 2025, or September 26, 2025. The nuggets are in the shapes of moons, stars and planets. This recall follows multiple customer complaints of injury after consuming the product due to pieces of bone in the nuggets.
Check your freezer, and if you have these nuggets on hand, dispose of them or return them to your place of purchase for a refund. Contact your doctor if you have experienced any injury or illness after eating this recalled chicken product.
For more information on this recall, contact the CFIA toll-free at 1-800-442-2342 or email information@inspection.gc.ca.
