Title: Great piece of mind
Review: These were just what I was looking for. I play golf and was so afraid of losing my hearing aids. These were great and I love the different colors. The clasp is a little difficult to open but it’s worth the trouble to be able to hear conversations clearly.

Title: I hope it keeps me from paying another $500+ to replace a lost hearing aid.
Review: I lost my hearing aid and it cost $500 to replace it. It turns out the tracking app will only indicate the hearing aid’s last location and as much as I searched it was nowhere to be found. This lanyard is easy to use, not too long and not too short, fits snuggly on the hearing aid between the receiver and the program selection button, and I was able to select a bright color that should make it lot easier to find my hearing aid if I do happen to misplace it. The clip holds it tightly to my clothing. The drawbacks? I have long hair and when I brush it or flip it back, my hand catches the lanyard. The clip can also be hard to open and when it does open, it doesn’t open widely. I sometimes have to work it back and forth to get the fabric of whatever I’m wearing between the teeth of the clip, depending on how thick the fabric is. Those negatives are minor compared to the peace of mind I get from feeling that I’m far less likely to lose the hearing aid. I thought I got all that peace of mind for a very reasonable price.

Title: Wish these came in an all black set.
Review: We actually use these for cochlear implant retention. The loop is a little small for a cochlear implant, but it assures a super snug retention. I use this for my son, and we like that it is pretty low profile and sturdy. I do wish you could order an all black set though. Not everyone wants to have a super bright tether sticking out of the back of their head. I actually add a small silicone piece to hold the two sides together behind my son’s head so the tether doesn’t stick out on the sides. . I wish the two sides were connected by a better mechanism so they didn’t flair out to the sides. The piece that they have used is way too loose, and it doesn’t at all hold the two sides together. See my video to know what I’m talking about. We have gone through quite a few of these sets, but that is because my child is young and every now and again he rips the loop. I do really like these retention cords, just some suggestions to make them even better.

Title: Perfect for 3+ year old
Review: I bought these for my son when he was 3 years old because I wanted something to clean easily and a clip that wasn’t metal. My son is now 5 and we still love them! I use soap and warm water to clean them and they have maintained color and quality is still like new. He recently got rechargeable hearing aids so we just push up the lanyard higher on the BTE so they don’t pop out of his charger pod.I feel so confident that his hearing aids won’t get lost due to the quality of the lanyards (plus my son loves his hearing aids and is very conscious of the fit).I’ve recommended this product link to my son’s DHH teacher and audiologist to share with other parents.I would 100% reorder this product again and again.

Title: Next to impossible to clip on your shirt
Review: These devices have tiny jaw-like clips for securing the lanyard to a shirt collar. These clips have a tab to press to open the jaws, but the tabs don’t work – no matter how hard you press the jaws don’t open. I didn’t try but maybe you could use tweezers to pry the tiny clips open so you could slide them onto your shirt collar.

Review: I lost my daughters hears aids twice when she was a couple months old and it was the worst feeling ever. I found this product and I’ve used them on her ever since. I get asked about them all the time and I recommend them when asked. I love that they’re silicone. They have a really good grip. I don’t have to worry about them getting lost anymore

Review: Two challenges: 1. the clip is not easy to open when you reach behind your head, 2. it takes some strength and perseverance to attach the loops to your hearing aids. However, the latter challenge means they are firmly attached, and one eventually becomes skilled at working the clip. Overall: this is very effective security at a very low cost. One special benefit: the bright colors mean that this would be easy to find if it fell in tall grass or bushes.
