Title: Great purchase
Review: I bought a bunch of these for stocking stuffers. I liked them so much that I just bought one for myself, too. They’re just really handy. The magnification is good; the light is just bright enough. I keep it by my bed, but now I’m thinking of getting one more to keep in my purse…actually, make that three more – one each for my sister and her husband, too.

Title: It’s actually very good. I’m surprised.
Review: This magnifying glass is actually better than I anticipated. Lately half my purchases here have been utter junk – despite researching and reading reviews. This one – is not junk. The light comes on when you open it all the way – which I do not want – so I only open it part way. The magnification is better than the small printer’s loupe because it has both a much wider view and a higher magnification. Is it 5x? I don’t know, but it is large. I can hold it away from a quarter and fill the opening of the glass with the quarter and it is in focus. To me, that’s very cool. I looked at a ladybug’s feet while it walked on the window ledge and I could actually see the shape of them which I never did before. It is a little big for actually walking with in your pants pocket, but that’s okay. It would fit neatly in a purse or coat pocket.Despite really liking this item, I can’t figure out how some reviewers got actual photos of the size of the magnified object through the lens. When I took videos or photos, the scale through a camera/phone lens was far different (smaller) than to my actual eye when the image was in focus. How’d they achieve those images? Regardless, it works fantastic for my eyes – and that’s the whole point of me having it. Perfect for tiny print on my battery banks (like 5 point font size! who can read that?) … for food labels … for seeds I’m germinating … for looking at random interesting things like ladybugs … snails in the aquarium … and coins. I’m impressed. Would buy it again. Considering my luck with buying here lately, I’m really surprised. The only negative? It’s plastic. Feels like it could be broken without trying awfully hard. For the price though you’re not going to get aluminum or stainless steel with a glass lens – so it’s okay.

Title: Compact and Handy
Review: The only reason I gave this lighted magnifire four stars rather than five is because I find it a little bit difficult to open – which is actually probably a good thing. I mean, you don’t want it flopping open indiscriminately, do you?! And my difficulty may be because of my arthritis. It is a very handy little gadget – I’m using it to help me write this review (I have a fair amount of vision loss). The keychain will come in handy when I buy another, but this one i generally keep in my pocket (small enough & very lightweight). The built-in light, while essential for me, most would find handy as well. A nice feature (although it might not have been meant as a feature); if you pull the glass out just far enough to clear the case, the light doesn’t come on, saving the battery when not neededI recommend.

Title: Quality at a great price
Review: The item has a quality feel. The light automatically comes on when the magnifying glass is fully opened. This is the only thing that I would change personally, but it is easy enough to sit.ply not open the glass all the way if you do not wish to use the light. Magnification is great and unlike glasses with much higher magnifying capability, it is easy to use and understand what you are looking at. All in all, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pocket magnifier. Five stars.

Title: A must have for me
Review: I am getting older but I really think that fine print has become smaller and more difficult to read. I have many items that the serial number or the Mac ID are so small that I don’t believe I could have read them even when I was younger. Having one of these on my keychain and then several of them at places in my home where I need to quickly read a small tag or serial number when I’m on the phone with the representative is a necessity. It makes it very easy to read what they need me to read and to do it accurately. These have worked reliably and are very reasonably priced.
