Title: BEST KINDLE CASE EVER THAT LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN PHOTOS!
Review: I honestly wasn’t thrilled with the merlot color as pictured on the product page–it had that too bright look of cheap leather to me–but I decided to take a chance at the heavily discounted price and I’m so glad that I did! In person, it’s a much deeper and more luxurious looking shade of burgundy, plus–speaking as a Kindle user since the first generation–this is the best and highest-quality Kindle case that I’ve ever had. The Amazon designers really crushed it. An absolutely minimal plastic shell wrapped in quality leather that feels great in the hand redefines the expression, “fits like a glove.” It adds so little to the size and weight of the Kindle Oasis form factor, it’s almost like your Oasis was merely dipped in leather. The case fully retains and even enhances the great ergonomics of the Oasis design, remaining totally comfortable to hold while reading when the cover is folded back.I’m also thrilled with the secure magnetic closure on the cover, so I know my screen will stay protected when my Oasis is tossed in a bag, and I love the convenience of it waking when the cover is opened. All in all, this is a 10/10 product and an easy 5-star recommendation, especially at what I assume is a likely close out discounted price on these covers.

Title: Quality construction
Review: You pay a premium for this case, but I find myself believing it’s worth it. For $50—as opposed to, say, Moko’s $24 option—you get a painted-on fit to your device (it really is perfect, like a second skin); softer leather with a more natural grain that doesn’t look like car upholstery or Batman’s rubber suit; a softer interior felt that seems much less cheap; a perceptibly better build quality; softer, less rounded, less plasticky edges; and a sleeker overall appearance. This case made the last one I tried seem cheap. Sure, you’re paying for a lot of plastic and backing with a small layer of leather, but the leather does feel luxurious, while the build of the cover as a whole feels really well made. I find myself wanting to feel and hold this case. It really is nice. I bought the Merlot because black is no longer available. I was worried I might hate it but it’s nice, and growing on me. It’s kind of a plummy, rusty blood color—half book of the dead and half old leather bound tome. If you’re on the fence but flexible I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Title: Could I love my Merlot 9th Generation Oasis Cover anymore??????
Review: The answer is NO!! I love this cover. It is absolutely perfect. I got the first released 9th Generation Oasis with the cover made by Amazon. I bought the saddle tan because it was the only one they had left. They have the natural suede that was suppose to patina over time to a unique look. Well good news, my magnets I had no trouble with. My cover stayed on well. Bad news is mine patina’d like a really dirty scratched up book. Well along comes the new covers. Leather….real real leather. Smells like leather, wears like leather, looks rich. I can’t wait to touch it. Maybe give it a sniff if no one is watching….I do love the smell of leather. I originally bought the punch red fabric cover thinking I would save money, and although beautiful and functional, I really didn’t care for the feel of the scratchy fabric. I returned and bought the Merlot leather cover and it has been worth every penny. If you ever hated holding a cold aluminum kindle, this solves the problem. It completely covers the kindle, and provides a comfortable reading experience while adding very little noticeable weight. It stays on secure. Sleeps and Wakes the Kindle. Perfect. I am very happy I purchased this cover.

Title: Decent cover, fits well and looks nice
Review: I expected the cover to be all leather with a microfiber interior, as indicated in the description. It wasn’t. The front cover is make of plastic with a thin leather overlay on the front and microfiber material on the back (the back is the part that rests against your Oasis when the cover is closed). The part of the cover that you nestle your Oasis into is plastic–it is NOT lined with microfiber. The back of the part that holds your Oasis is covered with a thin leather overlay. The Oasis fits nice and snug in the cover and the magnets that hold the front cover down work well. It’s also very light. The cover fits well and looks nice, but I rated it 4/5 stars because it’s priced way too high for what you get. It’s essentially a plastic cover with thin leather and microfiber glued on (not stitched). The photo is very accurate, so you can see for yourself how it looks. I’m happy with it, but it’s definitely overpriced.

Title: Convenient, excellent screen, very light, good battery life
Review: Excellent device. Great screen – can read in sunlight or no-light !!! The backlight works great. I really enjoy using this. Page turning is very convenient & is the Kindle super light & is easy to hold/turn pages. You can enlarge/shrink the text to your liking. I recommend getting the leather cover – it automatically saves your page & turns off when you close it (and protects from scratches), then opens back up to that same page. The ads are no bother at all, only on the initial “swipe open” page. Battery lasts quite long. Only negative – doesn’t use the USB-C charging cable, so have to be sure to only use the “mini USB” cable (I think that’s what they call it) – a pain since all my other phones/laptops use USB-C. But all-in-all, I highly recommend it.

Title: THE BEST
Review: I have the Scribe but found that I didn’t like hauling it to bed. Too cumbersome. I needed my Oasis but had given it to my daughter. So I bought a used Oasis from ebay that came with a case that might have been protective but was difficult to open. Fingernail time. Bought a veganish case from Amazon, cloth-like. I am not a mechanical moron, but implanting the Oasis into that case took one-half hour. And the thing required more fingernail action to open. Around the time that the second case was becoming annoying, Amazon must have opened a shipping container on a dock somewhere and discovered these beauties. Only recently available. I would have liked to avoid the leather aspect, but this is the case that works. Easy to place the Oasis. Easy to open. Protective. A bit more expensive than the other offers but worth it. Now I can take my Oasis to bed and lose it in the duvet. Still, this is the one.
