Title: Great E-Reader
Review: These are great devices. We bought them for the whole family this Christmas to make reading more entertaining. The kids have really enjoy picking books online and being able to read them instantly. They were refurbished so I always have concerns but they work flawlessly. They are durable, light weight, and easy to use. These were a great buy for our family. We have no complaints with these devices.

Title: Lacks basic screen lock passcode, anyone can look through your library.
Review: Nice screen size, decent display. However, it lacks the basic functionality of a screen lock with a password or code. Your library is open to anyone who happens to pick up your device. The B&N account can be locked from purchasing, but seem ridiculous that in this age of privacy protection and security such a basic requirement is overlooked. Returning this, hopefully they get serious with the next iteration as a modern consumer device.

Title: Nice ereader!
Review: I have owned every model of Kindle since the very first one was released. I have become concerned at Jeff Bezos’s politics and am reducing my spend on his businesses.This is a decent product, it generally works well but from time to time simply locks up and has to be reset. On some books, it doesn’t save your place so you have to tag your page. But, the design is simple and lightweight.Ordering books through its ecosystem is easy, but there’s very different choices of books.I’m not yet convinced this the way to go, though. I may buy a small tablet and use that with my library’s ebook lending instead.

Review: My wife bought NOOK FOR me 12/21/24 NEW.TUESDAY OR 3 days ago the screen said “Your NOOK is updating. Please wait a moment. ” STILL SAME MESSAGE ON SCREEN. WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY EFFORT. Amazon offers 0 assistance. Except pay to join their support product. Nook offered a minimal discount on new purchase. Why should ANYONE BUY NOOK OR ANYTHING ELSE,??? I DON’T KNOWANYONE ELSE? HELP IF YOU CAN.
