Review: I used this for some recent external engine work on my car (Waterpump/thermostat housing on my Porsche Boxster) The torque values were 10nm. I can’t verify the exact torque accuracy but nothing stripped and nothing leaked so I’m happy. The black finish, aside form looking nice is also easier to read for me. The ratchet mechanism feels quality, and it’s nice having the 72 tooth design for tight spaces. Which fasteners requiring a 1/4″ torque wrench usually are. It’s not a flex head, but the size is compact. The spring loaded lock collar is much easier to use than having a lock bolt on the end of the wrench like my 3/8″ Signet. I was a truck mechanic for 10 years but now just work on my own stuff. I have a 1/2″ snap on torque wrench that I love but couldn’t justify the price for their 1/4″ torque wrench for home use. So far I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Good follow up and support from the company if needed as well. Would definitely buy again.
