Title: Best over the counter readers I’ve ever got outside the eye doctor’s office.
Review: I ordered these in desperation after losing my brand new glasses from the eye doctor ($350 frames and $288 high def lenses with blue light filtering). 24-hours later, I found my glasses, which is great. However, it was too late to cancel this order – HOWEVER, I’m keeping these. The lenses are just as good as my expensive ones covered by my insurance. Yes, the frames aren’t the same but I like the frames here. I had also ordered a 3-pack of readers on Amazon the same day I ordered these and they aren’t anywhere near as good as these. This are amazing readers. I encourage those who need them to buy these. They really are fantastic.

Title: Awesome product,,,reasonable
Review: I have a problem, like millions of folk, sleep evades me at night. I have pretty extreme chronic pain etc. I choose not to keep TV on because it disturbs my beloved of 47 years. Great guy. My iPad and I have become buids. However, the historical drama, or space exploration was always marred by, tired eyes, double vision, painfuland itchy eyes. A friend, trying to help, suggested I just sleep. I am guessing the pain goddess didn’t like that idea as my pain increased exponentially . Then a couple of days later, while wandering around Amazon, muttering to myself about pain, etc. THERE WAS THE ANSWER….THIS FABULOUS PAIR OF PROSPEK GLASSES.. They looked geeky enough to help me look intelligent lol (big stretch). So I read a bit about them and ordered my first pair. AAAHHH It felt as if I had just put on my favorite pair of scruffy slippers. I wear them religiously and I am amazed at the relief they give me

Title: Very Comfortable Difference Maker
Review: For quite some time, I felt that my eyes were no right and that I was in need of corrective lenses. With my job, I am required to take an annual physical that includes an “eye test”, which is a simple reading of an eye chart. Because of what I am able to dicern, albeit somewhat fuzzy, I still rate at 20/15 vision. I have also had two professional eye exams and had left feeling oddly disappointed with the same 20/15 result. I have some days where I struggle more than others with focus issues with tired and dry eyes but I assume that’s the same for most people. At home, in the office, outdoors, in stores, all have a variety of factors, mostly lighting, that probably contribute to the degree of sight issues. I finally had reached an “I can’t take it anymore” point of focus struggles and decided to break down and buy a pair of readers. I stopped by my local common drugstore to try on a few pair using a medicine bottle as my reading material as it’s one of the most frustrating things that I try to read. I know very well that this print is much smaller than typical and not something that I would be reading often so I factored that in accordingly. As I tried on various pairs of glasses, I came across a (more expensive) “computer” reader. I wasn’t sure about what exactly this was and then factoring in computer distance versus document distance, I opted to do a little research. This of course turned into a lot of research as I am one of those that really analyzes my purchases, hence the “unfortunate” length of this review. But my hope is to benefit someone with like experiences.I will spare you all of the specifics of my research, but I will simply say that I was quite surprised at all of the things to consider when considering reading glasses. But I was also surprised to learn about the effects of “blue light” or UV rays from flat screen devices and even some office and home lighting sources. What is called “digital eyestrain” more and more seemed like a sound explanation to why my vision is 20/15 but I’m still having issues. I do spend a lot of time in front of a desktop at work, in an office with fluorescent lighting and smartphone time in the evening along with LCD television, albeit from about 8 feet or more away. After reading much about digital eyestrain and relating that to my lifestyle, I came across the Prospeck (or Spektrum) line of glasses. After much consideration about paying a little more than what I otherwise would at the drugstore for something I wasn’t 100% sure was a solution, I not only decided on the Prospeck Professional readers (1.50), but also a pair of the Dynamic with no power for desktop and tv use exclusively. I was sold on this brand because I ultimately felt that all things considered, the price was quite reasonable. But also, positive reviews that focused on things like their weight, universal nosepad comfort, quality of materials including spring hinges and size along with styling.I have had these glasses for about a week and a half and have been using them every day in a variety of applications. I am very pleased with the results as I do believe they make a noticable difference in the comfort of my eyes with less strain. For the Professional that are powered at 1.50, quite simply, you don’t know what you can’t see until you see it. Reading on my smartphone and even playing a couple of games under power is just more comfortable. Period. I do not have much of a qualified opinion about this point but I do feel like the quality and accuracy of the lenses is very good if not excellent. One thing I remember reading about in all of my research is how readers should have their strongest focus in the center of the lens to “guide your eyes” to that sweet spot properly. Forgive me for not remembering the proper technical term or phrase for this effect. As a reference, I wear a 7 1/2 cap size and the large frame option fits great on my nose and ears. The the weight is really only noticable if I’m thinking about the fact that I have them on. Aside from the benefit of power and the comfort of the frames, I am equally impressed by the management of blue light effects. My eyes are simply more comfortable and without question, it’s from the reduction of blue light. I thought the slight tint would be a distraction but it’s really not to me. Whites are no longer true white and rather have a very slight yellow or dingy like tone. But unless you are in graphic art where color accuracy is a priority, it’s likely to only be initially noticable and quickly forgettable. Some reviews mentioned things like “corner glare” or reflections but I’ve not experienced any of that. There is also the matter of some computer glasses having a wild colored lens tint but I’ve had no one, including eyeglass wearers comment on the lens color. One last point is the concept of “better sleep”. I hesitate to say that as a result of wearing these, I’m sleeping better. I am; however, I did recently purchase a new mattress topper, with Covid-19 I’m simply doing less; therefore, less stress, so I don’t know if it’s mental or an actual benefit. I do seem to wake up better rested and I definitely am waking up with refreshed eyes, which is something I have not experienced in a long, long time. And I’m at the point where not wearing them in front of a screen is starting to get uncomfortable.Between the drugstore, what a family might have laying around and this purchase, my experience with reading/computer glasses is extremely limited. But I consider myself lucky to have come across this brand considering the price, quality and most importantly, results. They are a real difference maker. As far as the four star rating is concerned, that’s only because a 1.25 option was not available, which seemed odd to me. I do believe this would have been a better power for me but only for the benefit of holding my phone at lap level as opposed to 4 inches closer. That being said, I will be buying two more pair so I won’t have to transport between home and work.

Title: Excellent quality, don’t recommend magnification
Review: They are durable, good looking, and I love the tint. They do have some reflection, but its not bad. I originally bought 1x magnification and it was way too much for me. I do not wear any glasses or contacts, and have really good vision. I thought 1x would be good for using the computer, but it strained my eyes. I’d recommend this product, but be cautious purchasing the magnified lenses unless you really need it for reading.

Title: meh
Review: I loved these when I first got them, but they smudge super easy and then scratch when trying to clean them. I couldn’t use the little cloth they sent because it seems to put more stuff on the lens.If you buy a pair, best to clean with soap and water and a soft cloth to dry.
