Title: Had potential which was not realized.
Review: When I first opened these hearing amplifiers, I was impressed and encouraged. I really liked the fact that they were rechargeable (don’t have to deal with constant battery changes). I thought that the compact charging case was outstanding. Unfortunately, that’s were my positive thoughts ended and the reality set in. Trying 4 different ear tips, I still couldn’t get the hearing device to stop screeching. The directions refer to this as a squeak. Ha! If that’s a squeak, a siren is a slight whistle. I really am averse to hearing device screeching. I didn’t like it when my mother’s hearing aids would squeal, and I hate it when it happens in my sensitive ear. No matter what I did or how many different approaches I took, I could not get it to stop its incessant screaming. When I sat in a silent room, I could achieve quiet, but the moment a sound occurred, the hearing device would scream. I have tried other amplifiers which haven’t had this issue (even one from Larksound). The listing claims that these amplifiers have “unrivaled advantages in whistling suppression.” This was not my experience. The company claims that if the user experiences this phenomena (the screeching), it’s because they have used the wrong sized ear tips. No matter how deeply I seated the device in my ear or what size tips I used, I couldn’t get the aid to function as I expected or anticipated. I can’t recommend these aids. 1 star.

Title: Tiny, good sound and fit, 3 modes, very affordable
Review: These are the smallest hearing aids / amplifiers I have tested and reviewed (barely the size of a US nickel); that’s good and not so good. On the good side, they were fairly invisible on me. As far as the down side of the small size, I dropped them more than once, and they also popped out of the case when I opened it; OK, I need to be more careful. Also, I have larger hands so using the push button on the aids to switch between modes took a little getting used to initially. The sound was OK for me in mode 1 (universal) and surprisingly best in mode 3 (outdoor) for watching TV (there is also a mode 2 for noise reduction). Changing volume must be done when not wearing the aids using an included mini-screwdriver. While the listing states the color is grey, that refers to the case; the aids themselves are actually in the beige / tan family). These come with 6 pairs of ear buds in sizes from XS to XXL. There is also a USB C charging cord, a cleaning brush, and instructions. One miss is the lid is not attached to the storage / charging case and a possible loss concern. These ar3e very affordable with a list price of $99.99 US at the time of this review and with the online 20% coupon has a cost of $79.99 US. I feel these fall somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, but given my own experience I will round the rating to 5-stars (and try not to drop and or / lose them).

Title: Not a good design for seniors
Review: I found it very difficult to change the plug sizes and the tiny buttons to change modes don’t always work and are not easy to press in general. While they did amplify sound and may work for some I don’t think they are a good design, especially for seniors who may have some dexterity issues. This seems to be a case of you get what you pay for and while they are an affordable price/option I would pass on these and look elsewhere.

Title: Pretty Decent Small Sound Amplifiers
Review: I wear hearing aids and I had heard about these types of sound amplifiers for a while, so when I had the opportunity to try these I jumped at the chance. I thought they would be good in a pinch if one of my hearing aids malfunctioned. The first thing I want to point out, to set expectations appropriately, is that these are sound amplifiers, not hearing aids. Hearing aids have circuitry to vary the amplification according to the degree a patient can hear specific frequencies. This leads to fairly natural customized sound. In my case, my hearing aids amplify the speech range well so I can hear and understand voices pretty clearly. In addition, full hearing aids have sophisticated noise suppression and focusing capability that allows one to hear sounds, say, ahead of you while suppressing others. This capability works well in a busy restaurant or bar. In addition, some hearing aids act as Bluetooth headphones to pump sound from a phone or other source directly into the aid. These devices are not that.So what do these sound amplification devices do? Well, they seem to amplify all frequencies at the same time. So everything gets louder at the same time. For people with mild or moderate hearing loss across a range of frequencies, this may be adequate. There are multiple volume levels on these, controlled with a wheel control, and they get fairly loud. For example, without these in, I can’t hear the tapping on keys on my keyboard. With these in, however, the tapping comes through loud and clear. Instrumental music sounds pretty good to me with these. They seem to transmit the sound as they come through speakers fairly accurately, so I can enjoy speech and music. The quality of the sound is decent in my opinion, although certainly not sterling. I was able to get a good fit and feedback can be controlled by trying different sizes of domes that are provided. The seal in my ears is good and you get some noise suppression as well. There are a total of 6 domes for each earpiece in 6 different sizes so that most people can find a good fit. I find they fit in the ear well and have not fallen out in my tests. It takes some experimentation to find the one that works best for you. They’re about as comfortable in the ear as good Bluetooth earphones. The size of these is very small and they fit in the ear much better and much more unobtrusively than other sets of hearing amplifiers I have tested. The rechargeability makes them very convenient to use. Operation is simple. Long press the on/off button on the bottom. It is very small and awkward to press in my opinion. Short pressing this button selects the 3 modes in order. You just have to try each mode to see which one works best for you. The volume control is also quite small, unfortunately and can’t really be changed while the amplifier is being worn. You change it with a little plastic screwdriver device that is supplied. Again, you have to experiment to find the right level for you. How comfortable they are to wear for long periods of time varies by the user, of course. I found them comfortable enough to wear all day. A decent carrying case is included along with 12 domes, a charging cord, a cleaning brush, and the little tool that can be used to adjust the volume. Decent instructions are included as well. So, are these for you? Well, if you have severe hearing loss and particularly if the amount of loss varies by frequency, perhaps not since all the frequencies are amplified with these. But if you find yourself turning up the TV and the too-loud sound is then ok for you (but not for your partner), these may help you a lot and be worth a try. Just be cognizant of what these are and don’t expect them to perform like a full hearing aid does. The feedback issue seems to vary by user so you may or may not be able to find a fit that works for you.All in all, these small hearing amplifiers work pretty well and I believe this product has the potential to help a wide range of people with hearing issues at a reasonable cost, especially with the 20% off coupon on the product page today.

Title: Good product for the money
Review: Comfortable and easy to use. Pretty good for the money. The three different settings are nice if you have minor hearing loss.

Title: Invisible Rechargeable Digital Hearing Aids for Adult Severe Hearing Loss
Review: This tiny hearing aid works great to amplify sounds and reduce noice. It is invisible if not close-by. Since it is designed to help people with severe hearing loss, the volume should be very carefully adjusted to avoid hustling. Because of its small size, I wold take them down to adjust the volumes with the small screwdriver provided. There needs a lot of test runs at the very beginning, but it is much easier later on. In my mind, mode 2 is better to balance sounds and noice. The charging chamber is very nice that it can be a charging station and carriage case. The charging is monitored by a indicator light on the earphones.
