Title: Hard to get off the backing, cover up the writing for helpers
Review: The goods: They come in four different sizes that are all brightly colored and vary in size and shape. They have a soft and smooth texture for feeling around them. The height is subtle enough that it doesn’t get in the way of things, but you can tell a difference. The bad: The most frustrating thing about these is that they are opaque. I wanted to put these on my grandma’s microwave to help her find the buttons, but even the smaller ones totally cover up the writing so guests can’t read what the buttons are. I also had a difficult time getting the dots of the backing.

Title: Fantastic and inexpensive tool for the visually impaired live independently. Excellent set.
Review: This set of Tactile Bump Dots for Visually Impaired is a must if you, or you work with individuals who have any type of visual impairment like parents or grandparents. There are four different solid high contrast colors in white, red, blue, and yellow in shapes of raised dots and squares. These are tools to help live independently and navigate commonly used buttons. The bump dots are peel and stick. Take a dot and place it on the start button of the microwave. Makes it easy for the visually impaired to see the bold color or feel the raised bump. Put a square bump on the start button of the washing machine and a round bump on the start dial. Makes life so much easier for a visually impaired person and helps them not have to guess or search for buttons they can’t see or feel. Be creative in how you can use these to help with buttons on the computer, TV remote, phone, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, light switches. Endless uses. I have a friend who is losing her eyesight to macular degeneration and I attended a class with her to help her learn to navigate her house better. These inexpensive dots were one of the recommended tools.
