Title: Fun toy
Review: Received in timely manner. Granddaughter NV 3yo enjoys pressing buttons. Not sure if she understands its purpose yet, but she is engaging with it. Time will tell if it helps her. Easy to program the extra buttons with your own message.

Title: Plesant sounding voice, not complicated to use, but this device has some drawbacks…
Review: The BRIFUTR AAC device came in a bright, matching box with the device and a simple instruction sheet that explains each button and how to record your own voice. The device feels comfortable to hold, but its size might make it harder to carry around or travel with. It would be helpful if a future version added a loop at the top where a strap could attach to a stroller or bag. I already own a slightly fancier device, so I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised after trying it out. The voice is a friendly female voice that sounds natural, unlike some devices that sound robotic. My only complaint is that a few of the pictures are not easy to decipher and should be simplified. To add to that, I feel it would have been better to have left the programmable circles blank (without REC written out), so that you could choose (draw) a corresponding image with a permanent marker. Right now, you can’t change the picture to match the programmable button, which is the biggest downfall to me. The other device I own also provides a variety of pre-printed sticker images to change the picture if needed. As long as the person who is using it doesn’t like to pick at stickers, that would be another option here. Overall, I don’t feel this device is too bad, but there are other options out there. The device seems fairly priced if purchased with a coupon or on sale. I have provided a few close-up pictures, so you can further judge the buttons and pictures. Also, I included a picture of how the battery compartment, and the on/off button are situated.

Title: As advertised….
Review: Exactly as advertised. Volume control even works!!! Being able to record exactly what is needed is most helpful for our non verbal autistic 14 year old. This is a nice companion to what we call her Talker (iPad).

Title: LOTS of features, but quality is POOR
Review: This has double the number of buttons that a similar device we have features. That being said, when it comes to performance, this is awesome and works great. Lots of preset recording buttons, as well as customizable ones. Unfortunately, the quality of the item is severely lacking. The first thing you will notice is the feather-like weight. While this might be nice when it comes to handling, it does not speak well for durably and quality. It’s made of very light plastic. The part that really disappoints me would be the stickers. I’m not a sticker expect, so I will do my best to describe the problem easily. The stickers are the type where is like a paper sheet with thin plastic film over the top. It’s the type where if it gets wet, the water soaks up the paper from the edges and bleeds under the plastic film causing it to all separate. It’s very cheap and makes the entire device look cheap. Outstanding device when it comes to abilities, but suffers from poor quality.

Title: Helpful tool even for verbal, dysregulated kiddos
Review: My children are not nonverbal, however they do routinely get overwhelmed when they’re emotionally dysregulated or aroused and struggle to “use their words.” Thus, I thought this would be a help, and while we don’t need all of the cues (like “I need to go to the bathroom,”) it HAS proved helpful for stating other needs that might be harder for them to actually state like, “I need a hug.” That one was surprisingly the one they’ve used the most. They also had fun recording their own sayings and were easily able to figure it out, tho directions were included. All in all, I think it’s a pretty handy and helpful tool!

Review: This BRIFUTR AAC Device for Autism Communication for Nonverbal Kids & Adults is a Talking Aid with 24 easy to understand talking buttons, 5 easily self-programmable buttons & a volume button with 3 different volumes. This device takes 3 AAA batteries which are included. It is super easy to use, just push a button and the device does the talking. It measures 12.25 (H) x 4.2 (W) x .39 (D).The 24 talk buttons say:- Thank you, yes, no, I’m happy, I’m sad, I need help, I’m scared, I need a hug, I’m bleeding, I’m thirsty, I’m hungry, I need to rest, it’s too hot, it’s too bright, don’t touch me, leave me alone, I need the bathroom, my head hurts, I want to take a picture, I’d like to listen to music, I’d like to watch TV, I want go out, I want my toys and wait please.I think this is a GREAT speech toy that can be used with children, adults and seniors, whether someone has a speech impediment, autism, trouble expressing themselves or is in early stages of dementia. Title: Good but big
Review: Sturdy and simple. Very easy to use. Great value for the cost. It is rather large, however. It is a bit inconvient for use out of the house.

Title: I’m hopeful
Review: This is a really cool device for my loved one with autism. It contains a few common phrases to use plus 5 more buttons to use to record phrases. He doesn’t really understand yet how it works but is curious about it. We’ve been working on helping him see the connections between the buttons and words. It is plastic, so it may break if thrown. I also like that the volume can be adjusted. Its easy to hold but a bit large. Here’s hoping he will catch onto it soon.
