Title: Excellent choice
Review: These adaptive utensils have helped my mom enjoy her meals and eating again. She is now independent in cutting her own food and is more confident. I would definitely purchase again.

Title: These are great for those with Parkinson’s.
Review: Nice weighted silverware that help those with Parkinson’s eat. The bigger grips are nicer and help with holding the silverware so they can eat without shaking so much.

Title: Almost perfect!
Review: These have been great for my elderly father who struggles to eat without spilling his food due to a few issues including shaking and a loss of strength in his hands. These have been handy for him although he doesn’t always use them. He likes the weight quite a lot which he says helps give him stability. The width of the handles is also handy for him to grip. He also says that the shorter length is very nice since longer, thinner classic silverware can be clumsy for him.His only complaint is that the handles are just a wee bit too wide. He wishes they weren’t quite so ‘fat’ or chunky but he says they are still an improvement over traditional silvrware for his comfort.

Title: Well made but didn’t help much with Essential Tremors
Review: My 76 year old mother has severe Essential Tremors (and I have the start of it) so I got these for my her. She struggles with getting food and drink to her mouth without spilling it from her hands shaking so bad. Everything ends up on the table or down the front of her. I read up on things to help and weighted utensils were the solution many gave. I was hoping they’d give my mom some autonomy back. These utensils are well made. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to help her tremors much. She said she found them a little annoying since they are heavier but she was still shaking just as bad. I can’t fault the product though – it is as advertised and made well (so 5 stars for quality) but maybe just not right for us. They washed up in the dishwasher just fine.

Title: Nice Grips
Review: This is a nice set of adaptive utensils. They have a very good grip and the weight is just right. They are also nice looking and don’t stand out as something being out of place which is nice when in a dining room setting. They wash and wear well. These have only been hand washed. I wish these came in an angled version so those with positioning issues due to stroke could use these as well.

Title: Awkward to hold and poor metal quality
Review: I am the target audience for this product. I did not notice these utensils making it easier for me to eat or increasing the stability of my hands during mealtime. In my opinion the handle is too wide at the point where it meets the metal utensil and should be more tapered for comfort. The metal is easily bent, both the tines on the fork and the knife bent when I tested that and I’m not a strong person so not a good value for the money and would not, in my opinion, hold up to hard use. They are easy to clean and the handles themselves are quite sturdy. These can be used by left or right handed people and the handles are well textured.

Title: Good grip
Review: This set of adaptive utensils is high quality. The handles are extremely comfortable to hold and easy to get a grip on. They are soft enough to feel good in your hand but hard enough to feel solid. And they are attached very securely to the stainless steel tips. Those are also quite strong and do not bend easily. The size of the handles and tips both seem appropriate to me. There’s some weight to it but it’s not what I would call heavy. It’s all just a good balance. For $21.99 for the set of 4 utensils, I think this is a good deal for quality products.

Title: Silverware for arthritis
Review: What a great product for those of us who can’t close our hands tightly anymore!I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands and it gets worse in the winter, I have foam covers I’ve been adding to silverware to make it easier to hold, they’re like tiny pool noodles, a gift from my physical therapist. I also have a special needs kid who won’t stop destroying the foam tubes so I’ve been trying to find a more durable replacement and this is it! They’re kinda gigantic, see pictures to compare my favorite utensils to these. it will take a little bit to get used to them. I feel like a toddler. But if this is what it takes so I can eat without my hands screaming while dropping my fork or spoon every other minute, then I’m here for it and I’m glad it’s these. They seem really well made, they have a nice weight to them.
