Washing and Care Instructions:

1. For best results, hand wash silk pillowcases in cold water, using mild neutral liquid detergent. Detergents formulated specifically for silk will keep the silky-softness of the fabric.

2. Do not soak dark-colored silk for more than five minutes. Wash separately and do not mix with other harsher fabric as it will break down the more delicate silk fibers.

3. Avoid tumble-drying. The heat will change silk dramatically and cause the loss of softness/sheen.

4. Wrinkles in silk should disappear with time, and so ironing is not recommended. If you must, be sure to use a low setting without steam and iron on the reverse side of damp silk, which may bring some of the sheen back to the charmeuse front side.

5. Always take off your make-up and mascara before you go to bed. Not only would your skin benefit by being able to breath, rest and recover, but the white pillowcase would not stain. (NEVER use bleach products, it turns the silk yellow!)
