Title: Educational
Review: These are great alphabet letters in Sign Language. The hand shapes are easy to read and understand. Some cards I have seen the hands are not shaped correctly. These are great for teaching kids their signed alphabet.

Title: Great for Family Members
Review: These are pretty decent cards, and they cover many of the daily words you would need. The pictures are clear and fairly easy to understand. The descriptions on the back help. For some of the multiple-step signs, the descriptions are a little confusing and you will probably need to refer to a secondary source. The teaching tips and reminders are helpful. I honestly find these might be most helpful for relatives of hearing-impaired kids; the kids could keep them on hand and use them to teach those adults that don’t know ASL. It would be a great bridge to building conversations and relationships.

Title: Seems relatively easy for younger kids
Review: Good set of starter cards. I would like them to add please and thank you to the deck, but otherwise pleased.

Title: Great Cards for Learning Sign Language at Any Age!
Review: Back in my 20s I worked as a cashier and knew some sign language to talk to customers. Now that someone I know well asks me to repeat myself when I talk to them, I’m thinking I may need to know more sign language in the future. These packs of cards are great for learning the basics fast. This pack has words like coat, socks, hat, shoes, glasses, hello, please, I love you, thank you, why, drink, name, sleep, eat, bathroom, emergency, allergy and calm. There are 61 cards in this pack.Even if you only learn a few signs a day you will make a lot of progress. While these are made for teaching kids sign language I think they are wonderful for any age. On the back there are instructions and on the front there is a picture. This is the second pack of cards I have enjoyed learning from by this company.~The Rebecca Review

Title: Very Good for What They Are
Review: Couple things up front… First, on the package it says age 2+, but it has words that would be a hard concept for any two year old, including “who,” “what,” “where,” “how,” and “why.” Not a ding, just an observation. Second, ASL is a dynamic language, and trying to learn from static pictures or a book is no more possible than trying to learn a foreign language from a book or flash cards and trying to get the accent right. Again, not a ding. This set is well made and organized; for instance, clothing signs were grouped together. The pictures are clear (or as clear as static pictures can be) and there are memory aids on most. So, end of the day, 5* for what they are. A great practice aid and a good quick reference for those not the regular primary care giver. But they are a supplement, not a substitute for a class or at least a video series.
