Title: Love this echo 8! All access to devices in one place!
Review: Couldn’t be happier with this prime day deal! I love the echo show. It works seamlessly with all my Alexa devices and organizes it all in one place.! The speaker is fantastic! I love the variety of widgets you can use. I often use the one that is calm for my cat lol. I love that. I can also use it as a camera to look in and it notifies me if someone is looking in while I am home. I can close the privacy on the camera if I don’t want anyone to be able to look in. It connects fantastic to my Wi-Fi. Also let it be known that I use this in a large area of a family room and kitchen that’s pretty big and the sound fills the room very nicely and the voice recognition is fantastic. I chose the white and I got the stand to go with it.

Title: An Most Excellent Upgrade
Review: The new echo is really nice. I can tell it has a faster processor so it is snappier and faster on boot and in operation. *snickers* Our Alexa seems happier and chipper *chuckles again*. I had no problems transfering my settings from the last gen echo to this new one and setup was a breeze. It is soooooo nice to have a zigbee hub included at long last. I really need to be able to control my devices regardless of internet status.. I have yet to test this, but it seems the new Echo had no problems transferring both devices and settings. This edition responds very quickly and seems even easier to use than the last one. The one snag was when I transferred the WiFi. It tried at first to autoconfigure, and then I had to select the correct setting, but it remembered my config and logged in quickly to the 5G. I have had no problems operating this unit and it seems to be better about retaining control as the central unit. I actually quit like Alexa+ as she matures… She responds quickly, my requests are processed even mroe quickly, and is not making the mistakes from before nearly as often. It’s actually made the system much easier to use. The sound is rather good as well, fuller and more rounded. Over all, I definitely approve of the new Echo.

Title: Definently worth it and affordable.
Review: So when i was waiting for my order and when it came, i setted i up, and it worked out well, it works good, and nothing bad happened. i liked the Alexa+ but id rather keep with the old Alexa because its more classic but i like both better. The voice recognition was not bad! the size didnt matter even though it was a little small and big at the same time, Brightness, not bad at all! it looks good with brightness at no matter what. the control capacity was exactly perfect. i could swipe down and more stuff. it worked great with the smart home items like my lights and more. the coolness what really also not the bad. and also the temperature was really not that extreme hot! so yes it is worth it and YOU, yes, YOU should buy it too :3

Title: Good, but maybe not great.
Review: I like this, but don’t love it.Cons: The setup isn’t user friendly at all. Can it not just have an app screen? There are ads pushed to you which is annoying but that’s everything now. Also when my kid was setting up his voice, it got sidetracked on the word “weather.” Say everything else but that word and it works. Weird glitch.Pros: For music- the speaker is very good. I enjoy being able to play music in the kitchen without using my hands.also it is really good at recognizing who is facing it. Freakishly good.

Title: Totally recommend it!
Review: I’m really happy with the Echo Show 8. The sound quality is surprisingly powerful and clear for its size — deep bass and crisp vocals make it great for both music and video calls. The screen is another big plus: bright, sharp, and super handy for watching recipes, shows, or controlling smart home devices. It’s a well-rounded device that combines excellent audio with a practical, versatile display. Totally recommend it!

Title: The Echo Show 8 3rd gen is a worthy upgrade from 2nd gen
Review: I love the Echo Show 8. It just feels like a premium device. It feels well built, heavy and durable. I just upgraded two 2nd gen Echo Show 8’s to 3rd gen, and I’m noticing quite a few improvements, including audio, video, camera, more control over smart devices, and a smarter Alexa, overall. Alexa gives me answers for things far quicker than I could get them if I was doing my own Google search. There’s just so much that Alexa does for me that I feel like Echo devices are undervalued. If you are reading this review and you have a 2nd gen Echo Show 8, and you’re here wondering if you should upgrade, I say yes. This is definitely a worthy upgrade, in my opinion. I have Alexa controlling everything from my sprinkler system to my lights, and it all works seamlessly. Also, I recommend signing up for Alexa+ Early Access, as Alexa is far more advanced in this mode, making for an already excellent experience.

Title: Better sound but limited Apple Music support
Review: I finally upgraded from my first-generation Echo Show 5 after Amazon announced it would no longer receive updates. The trade-in offer of 20% off plus a $5 credit made the upgrade worthwhile, and I’m glad I went for it. Setup was quick and seamless, saving me time, and the sound quality is noticeably better than my old device. The kids love the bigger screen size! It is also brighter and higher resolution, which is great for drop-in calls. That said, voice recognition isn’t perfect. We often find ourselves repeating commands multiple times before Alexa understands, which can be frustrating. Sometimes, the lag time is also longer, but it could be possibly because of our internet service. Another downside is the limited support for Apple Music. Even though I set it as my preferred streaming service, I still have to specifically say “play [song] on Apple Music” every time, which gets a bit annoying. On the positive side, the Echo Show 8 connects smoothly with all of our other smart home devices, which is the main reason we’re staying within the Alexa ecosystem. Overall, it’s a sleek upgrade with much-improved sound and functionality, but there are still areas for Amazon to refine.

Review: This Echo Show 8 completely exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is amazing—it actually feels like a mini home speaker system with rich bass and crisp clarity. Whether I’m playing music, watching videos, or just listening to the news, it sounds fantastic. The display is super sharp and bright, and it automatically adjusts to the lighting in the room, which makes it perfect for any time of day. Alexa feels faster and smarter, and the responses are almost instant.I use it every day—for checking weather, playing music, making video calls, controlling lights, and even watching YouTube and recipe videos. It’s become such a natural part of my daily routine. The built-in smart home hub is also a huge plus—makes managing everything so simple. It looks clean and modern too. The Charcoal finish gives it a premium feel. Honestly, this is probably the most useful and enjoyable smart device I own. I would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Review: I’m sure there is lots that Alexa can do that we are not utilizing yet, but so far we are really enjoying and appreciating the helpful addition to our home. She alerts us to packages, shows us camera feeds, and generally works well in the kitchen for converting measurements for cooking/baking, finding ingredient substitutions, etc. The sound quality is very good from the unit as well, so if you play music it sounds rather good! Mostly plug and play, but like I said, I’m sure she will do much more than we are currently utilizing.
