Title: My Wife just loves this Tablet over a Kindle!
Review: My Wife just loves this Tablet over a Kindle. Perfect size of 8″ so easy to handle like the kindle. Touch screen and more versatile than the kindle as you can use various other apps and then the kindle book app. when you want to read books. Table can stream all my wifes shows besides just reading. Excellent quality very durable and ample storage for the less intense user.

Title: Great Price
Review: A bargain a $55. Ordered to replace a very old iPad for my wife. She uses it mostly as a reader (newspaper/books) and not much on the internet. It is slower than the iPad but cast about 1/6 the price. Easy to use/set up. Quality seems good so far. Screen is clear. Placed in a case to protect it.

Title: Great tablet, great value (but a few features aren’t working on this newer one)
Review: I’ve used a Fire tablet for years and would not be without one. For the price they can’t be beaten imo. I thought my previous one had died so I immediately ordered its replacement and upgraded to the 64 gb memory. I also always add a memory card so I can download and keep movies, etc. with no worries. I keep all my Kindle books, over a thousand, downloaded on it of course, and much of the amazon music that I own. Also useful for watching Prime, Youtube, or other streaming videos. I also check my email, my Ring cameras, use Alexa (but see update below) including controlling my Wyze devices, and have several streaming and simple game apps on it. It’s a very versatile, durable little tablet for basic daily use. It does everything I need in a tablet, when the features are working correctly. I use my laptop for things requiring much keyboarding and for browsing the internet, but this tablet does that too.My older one came back to life after this one arrived but I decided to just keep both. This one is a newer generation, but I’m not a techie and can’t tell much difference in the two. (BUT SEE UPDATE BELOW.) I highly recommend the Fire tablets. At certain times of the year they are ridiculously inexpensive and are still a great value at regular price. UPDATE:I am having a problem using Alexa on this new tablet, a problem that my older one does not have. Although the settings are correct on both of them, for some unknown reason Alexa responds on this one with a keyboard for me to TYPE what I want her to do. I don’t want that! There is a microphone icon to tell it what to type, but I want Alexa to voice-respond (with the blue line at the bottom), as it does on my older Fire tablets and on my Echo that has a screen. I have repeatedly checked the settings and restarted the tablet but it will not voice-respond for Alexa. Also, it recognizes that I have an SD card installed but it nevertheless saves almost everything to its internal memory, although I have those settings correct, too. It’s already used half its internal memory and very little of the SD card. Therefore I’m reluctantly deducting a star.(These are still awesome tablets for the price. My older one just works better for accessing Alexa.)

Title: A Fun Tablet That Works Hard
Review: I love my Fire HD8. Easy to set up, automatically. It’s a dream to operate. Simple, intuitive and colorful, it’s really fun. So many apps with everything I need at my fingertips. I listen to an audiobook while I do routine tasks on the tablet. Set up kids’ time & options at the start so they’re safe watching.I love how portable it is — convenient to take with me. A perfect size to fit into my purse. Like having my pc with me but without the size & weight. I don’t use my iPhone for email bc I don’t want to be looking at it constantly. But I can take the tablet out & send an email or order online without waiting until I get home to my pc. I don’t like texting on my cell bc it’s so tiny but using the tablet gives great visibility.I already sent my sister one of these bc she struggles with her pc & using this tablet is a breeze! It make such a pleasant difference bc she doesn’t really need a computer. She wants the connectivity of internet interactions like email, Zoom, streaming movies & videos. I’ve had more expensive tablets that have not lasted. A great tablet for the price!
