Title: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth the wait – a huge upgrade from the original Kindle Scribe
Review: I upgraded from the original black-and-white Kindle Scribe to the new Colorsoft, and the transition could not have been easier. All of my content transferred seamlessly, so I was able to pick it up and start using it immediately without any setup headaches.The color functionality is a game changer. I love being able to write, highlight, and draw using multiple shades — 10 pen shades and 5 highlighter shades — and the shading tools let you build even more depth by layering colors. The highlighter works similarly, where overlapping highlights create richer tones. While I’m not a serious artist, this is perfect for journaling, light sketching, note-taking, and marking up documents.Image quality on the original Scribe was fine, but everything being black and white really limited its usefulness for cookbooks and picture-heavy books. The Colorsoft completely solves that. Photos and illustrations are surprisingly clear and vivid, which makes reading visual content far more enjoyable. The built-in backlight is another big plus, especially for reading and writing in darker environments.There are a couple of minor drawbacks. The white pen looks a bit odd with the graphite case, but that’s easy to overlook given how well everything else works. The official covers are also very expensive. I measured the device and ordered a universal 11” tablet case with a pen holder, which I am hoping will work well until more reasonably priced options become available.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and glad I ordered early. I’m already using it, and I’m keeping my original black-and-white Scribe as a backup. I’ve been watching for this release for months, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations.

Title: Love my Kindle Scribe Colorsoft! Multifunctional and beautiful.
Review: Great device! I love writing on this and often doodle on it in different colors while taking notes. I often use the “Refine Handwriting” tool to neaten my handwriting and add space to my notes page. Then I continue taking notes with my giant chicken scratch writing, then refine it again! I’ve used the checklists, different note paper, and can’t wait to keep a planner on here.Since my son often borrows my paperwhite, I have been reading more on this as well, and I must say, I love how I can read for longer before turning the page. I also love how i can customize the display and font.I’ve already connected to my Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive and imported templates into the scribe. I haven’t had a need to export yet but will be testing that out.I also love how many books are available with Kindle Unlimited. I have read several novels, autobiographies and nonfiction books since I received this on December 15th. (I am a voracious reader.) In fact, my son left his paperback at work and is now off for a week, so we looked to see if his book was available on KU, and it is! (Which means, of course, that he is using my paperwhite for the week lol. All good, I have my Scribe Colorsoft!)Even though I would have loved to get the fig color, the graphite is beautiful, too, and I will be keeping it in a case anyway. Looks like i’ll need to find a fig-colored case (plant based – it’s currently only available in genuine leather).Five stars! I love my new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and highly recommend it for writing, note-taking, doodling, keeping score in Spades and Backgammon, and, of course, reading. It’s also very lightweight and easy to hold (though I am still waiting (im)patiently for a cover with a handle in the back).*Note: While Dark Mode is not yet available (it should be via release in early 2026), you can still read your books in “dark mode” as most books have this as an available option. Super easy setting and looks the same as dark mode reading on my kindle.Pics of some different screens. Family names have been redacted in case they read this 🙂

Review: Hats off to Amazon for releasing Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. Office work management made easy!I am a heavy user of Kindle. Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is my 8th or 9th Kindle device, and 3rd Scribe. Received this one in USA, and in next flight it came to Dhaka. Also received the cover (ordered separately). I manage my entire office meetings and all official works on its notebook by heavily using the note taking facilities of Kindle Scribe. For reading books I still use Kindle Oasis which has a back made of steel. Now I have already started highlighting my notes in different colors which is fantastic. I will manage my bank on color-coded priority task assignment and supervision basis from now on. Nothing beats the beauty and elegance and utility functions of Scribe Colorsoft from an office management point of view. Waiting for the other functionalities to be released soon.Update below after using it for more than a week:I am truly enjoying the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, though there are a few important observations worth sharing.When you compare the screen of the Scribe Colorsoft with the regular Kindle Scribe side by side, the difference in base screen tone is immediately noticeable. No matter how much I adjust the settings, the Colorsoft’s screen remains noticeably darker. In the photo I have shared, the Colorsoft is set to Brightness 18 and Warmth 10, while the Scribe is at Brightness 12 and Warmth 6. If I were to lower the Colorsoft to match the Scribe’s settings, it would definitely appear hugely & significantly darker. This base color tone is something potential buyers should be aware of.That said, I am still very happy with the Colorsoft and expect to adjust to it over time.Where the device truly shines is in design and usability. I really love the Home Screen layout, especially the Quick Note and ‘Jump Back In’ features placed at the top. They are intuitive and genuinely useful. The ability to write in color is a big welcome addition, although highlighting in multiple colors does offer some challenge.Reading books on this device is a pleasure. The build feels solid and reassuring. Writing, saving and managing notes and files is smooth and enjoyable, and the overall experience feels polished.Despite the screen tone issue, this is a very elegant, thoughtfully designed device that I enjoy using every day.
