Title: Great emergency lights.
Review: We put these in a couple locations in our workshop where things get really dark if the power goes out since there aren’t many windows. Feeling your way around to find your way out is a little scary. The lights are nice and bright, which is always a great addition in a workshop environment, and it’s really nice to be able to adjust the color temperature. The lights look great and are ruggedly built. Installation was simple, the same as any similar LED recessed light. Having the test button on the light is a nice reassurance so that you know it’s working. We only did a brief test to simulate a power outage, but they worked fine for 10 minutes which was plenty of time to get out of the shop or find a flashlight and I’d expect them to last the advertised 90. Backup lights like this are pretty expensive compared to standard ones, but they provide a lot of peace of mind.

Title: Designed with a purpose and easy to wire in
Review: Right out the gate – yes these are expensive, but they are well worth it when you are trying to get somewhere in a dark room and the power drops on you. These install with extreme ease, the wiring is simple, the connection/junction box is not super strong but it works, and the light color selection is easy to set. When you use these on a dimmer they hold up pretty well. Shutting a light switch off doesn’t cause these automatically turn on, but to test them, you just shut off your breaker and they will fire right up. Great addition to your home or business as a bright emergency light!

Title: Extra Security For Your Family
Review: These are great lights. Everything you could want in an efficient light that ALSO has a battery backup in case the power goes out. I have not had this situation happen to me yet, but glad I have them installed in the main hallway upstairs just in case. Would love to put these everywhere, but the price point is steep. They are dimmable, but don’t change colors. Different versions of white. Very well made and will last for a very long time.

Title: Great lights with emergency power!
Review: From just a “light standpoint”, these are really nice downlights, sipping a mere 16 watts of power (!) while producing what looks to my eye to be about a 50-60 watt incandescent equivalency, all while being color-temp adjustable from 2700k to 5000k, making them suitable for just about any installation. And they’re DIMMABLE, too, but please see the “approved dimmer list” listed in the description.Beyond how well they work as lights, you have the battery backup feature which is really the standout feature of these lights. I can’t say enough about how essential this can be in an emergency. If you have some dark areas that you know will be difficult to move around in when it’s dark, I HIGHLY recommend getting some of these to alleviate those issues in the easiest manner possible.The quality of these lights, build-wise and light-wise, is fantastic, and the safety cushion they provide in an emergency really can’t be overstated. A little pricier than a “regular” downlight, absolutely, but 100% worth the investment, especially when bad things happen. 5 stars!

The product does not appear too flimsy or cheaply designed, and allows a relatively standard installation that takes only a few minutes (assuming pre-drilled holes). The product’s lighting has been bright and smooth, with no flickering or eye straining issues, illuminating a small-medium area well when working together. The product’s battery feature is very useful, and ideal in basements or near emergency exits where there may not be any windows, so if there’s a power outage you’re not fumbling around helplessly.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Title: Great emergency lights
Review: Good bright downlights. The battery backup function is nice, when the power goes out they stay on, but they are still switchable when the power is still on. These are easy to install, just cut a hole, fish the wire over, and hook it up with the included wiring/battery box.
