Title: Best ever
Review: Purchased as a gift for my neighbor (who always complained about her phone) and she absolutely loves this phone! She has called to thank me three times saying “I can hear clear, I can see who’s calling and I have three handsets, best gift ever!”Many more features and best value. I am happy that my sweet neighbor Ms. Bea is ecstatic about her phone!

Title: Loud and Clear
Review: Phones work fine. However, the instruction booklet that comes with them leaves a great deal to be desired. You must go on line and download the actual manual to discover the many features the phone has as they are NOT covered very clearly or at all in what is provided. Good range, good volume

Title: Just got this set two days ago am writing to update the info on Amazon
Review: I think I like this phone. It’s dense with function. Af first I thought it had no intercom (between the 4 phones in the set we bought) but, as with other pluses you find it “as you travel” through the manual. First thing to do is download the manual to your desktop…believe me you will use it! The booklets (2 actually) that comes with the phone only scratches the surface. Even the digital version isn’t as good as it could be. But read you must and you will find answers and fixes. You can store hundreds of names in the directory and it will also hold Call ID names. If it’s still usable (as ours was) you can leave one of your old phones plugged in with the answering machine turned off and it will work as an additional location. One thing that’s not great is it won’t stand up out of the charger…can’t imagine why they designed it that way, such an obvious flaw. But…it does have intercom, it does have 1,000 block call ability (YAY), it does have audio assist, it does have handset locator. I’m hoping that they award me a PH.D once I figure out all the options and how to get them on the smart call blocker (2nd booklet), but it’s only day two. And yes, the phones do communicate; so although I had to type in all the numbers (there’s got to be a better way to do that!) when I was done the other three phones had the directory. I had done all this off-line but plugged them all into wall sockets so that the batteries would charge (it recommends a full day or so). Once they were charged all functions were usable off line. I think it’s good value for the money, we loved our Panasonic but it only blocked 250 calls and then I’d delete them all and re-enter as they came back in. These days my credit card, car warranty, “vote for me”, “hello grandma” calls are plentiful. Now … if only my kids would call!Update 6 weeks in use: Buyer beware! I had my Panasonic phone system for 7 years, nary a problem until the sound started to get blurry. It didn’t owe me anything and I was sorry to see it die(ish). But…it didn’t have the call blocking I needed and AT & T’s system works miraculously in blocking calls…really great. But the phones are “lightweight”, they don’t stand up and only six weeks after I spent hours programming in all my ID numbers and setting up the system one of the four phones lost most of the digital characters on the screen (time, caller # etc). So I called AT & T who walked me through everything I had already done (remove battery and replace 2 minutes later), they declared it a broken phone. But since I bought it from Amazon whose warranty is 4 weeks (!!) they recommended I mail it back to Texas and they would send me a brand new unit (1 phone). The cost to do that was mine (about 15 bucks). Or call Amazon and see if they would send me ONE phone. I began with Amazon who offered to replace the entire system if I mailed it back (mailing cost provided), they would refund my money and I could buy a new system, but they would not provide one phone. This meant I would have REPROGRAM all my #’s and reset the funky blocking system. They did give me an option of $25 credit on my account (I took it), but now I’m wondering if this cheaply made phone group will need replacing in one year or less. I’m not sending the phone back to AT & T as I have no evidence that this problem won’t pop up on another of the four extensions and the whole thing will cost as much as I paid for the phone system. (I hooked up my old Panasonic which still works even with the At & T as long as I don’t engage the answering machine on the Panasonic). The dead-ish AT & T now lives in my closet shoe box where all wires go to die. At & T got the blocking app perfect, wish they made better hardware. If you find another provider with good blocking make sure the phones are well designed (if you can, certainly they should stand up on a table with out having to be in the charger…that’s why they’re supposedly “wireless” ! Sorry AT & T I give you a C on this system and don’t recommend it.

Title: wonderful phone, im so happy I found it!!
Review: THE BEST!! I had this phone for a long time. Then my friend lost one. I then bought another phone from a different company and it was not good so I looked back in my shopping history and found this phone again and I was so happy!!You hear very clear and it has a good volume. The screen is big enough and lights up well. When the phone rings on the 2nd ring the phone announces who the caller is. You can turn that feature off but Iove it. All in all its a great phone!!

Title: Looks high tech
Review: Amazing! The call blocking is why we purchased it. No more scam calls from the so-called Police department wanting donations….because our tax dollars apparently isn’t enough of a wage for them to live on. Pah-leeeze! Great purchase! I highly recommend! The sound is very clear. I can afford to buy the best and I did!!!!

Title: Effectively Blocks Telemarketers, But Very Inconvenient to Use
Review: We bought this phone system to replace our standard cordless phone system as we were getting far too many robo calls. The call screening works effectively. I have not gotten one telemarketing call since installing it. We were getting them as close as 3-5 minutes apart the week before installation. So that is a positive. One other positive is you can delete individual messages from the handset (our old system could only do that from the master base unit). The downside is the inconvenience of operation.1. Answering a call: simply pressing the speaker or phone button does not answer calls in screen mode. You must also press “1” to answer. This additional delay/step seems unnecessary.2. The message playback does not show the telephone number of the calling party when playing back messages.3. The intercom system is hard to use and takes several steps to start a call to another handset.4. Handsets cannot be given useful names like “kitchen”, “studio”, etc. Only the default Handset 1,2,3 etc. forcing you to remember which handset number is which room/person.5. No clip on the back of the phone. With my old phone, I often clipped it to my shirt collar and used speaker phone hands free. This phone has no means to clip onto anything for hands free operation.6. Base unit has no display so when playing messages, you cannot see caller’s number or caller ID.7. No dedicated button for telco’s voicemail. Our old phones had a “VM” button that could be programmed to dial our telco voicemail (call waiting voicemail) and dial the passcode and start playing messages stored on the telco’s voice mail system. As far as I can tell, that feature is not on this phone. So the bottom line is, you have to give up conveniences you may be used to just to block telemarketers.
