Review: My family thought the 3 handsets was overkill. But our kids were always misplacing our old one. Or allowing the battery to die. Ugh! This has fixed all of that. Because there’s always at least one charging, regardless of who’s using (or losing) the other two. So for us, the 3 pack was a good call!

Review: Works well, upstairs and downstairs. Good reception, use the speaker phone a lot. Easy to use and hold. Highly recommend. Only thing I had trouble with was setting the right time. It always went two hours ahead after I set the right time.

Title: Low battery life
Review: Constantly need to recharge. Need to keep phone near my chair, but not close to wall where base needs to plug in. If it wasn’t for my old school husband we wouldn’t even have a phone like this.

Review: Our previous wireless “landline” phone set died, so I had my wife look at a bunch of possibilities. She picked this one, largely based on appearance, rather than extra features. So we haven’t even tried the Bluetooth functions, where you can supposedly answer a call to your mobile phone using this one. You have to install the batteries yourself, but I’ve been through this before, so not a problem. They had a bit of charge in them out of the box, so I could see that things were working before the first (long) charge cycle. This phone has a complex set of call blocking options, which I found intimidating, even though I’m a (retired) techie, so we haven’t set up any of that either. But if that’s your thing, I assume it works. It even has a default answering (“greeting”) message, but we eventually got around to recording our own.

Title: Decent Phone
Review: My old version of this phone finally died after 6 years. I could have probably just changed the batteries but I got this newer model at a great price so I felt it was time to get a new one. All in all, decent phone, good sound quality and they updated the look and made the features a little easier to operate. The only thing I do NOT like about this newer model is the cradle and the base of the phone itself. There are two design flaws. The phone does NOT stand up on its own. The older model did and I liked that. This one you have to lie down flat if off the cradle. Also, the old cradle was at a slight angle so that the phone slipped into the cradle nicely and stayed put. This new one has no angle and the phone stands straight up on it rather than settle into it a little. This means that if I am in a hurry or not careful enough the phone doesn’t connect with the cradle and I have dropped it a couple of times. It should lean back into it more rather than stand straight up. I don’t know why the makers of this phone thought this was a good idea. Also, don’t really know what the arm is for. I keep it straight up and have never used it. Older model did not have one. Maybe some people have a use for it. I don’t. One other minor complaint. Sometimes I need to lift the cradle to dust under it since it sits on my desk. The volume control buttons for the ringer are on the side of the cradle so whenever I go to lift it I always end up making the phone ring. Not a deal breaker but a nuisance when it happens. If you need to lift the cradle from the sides (which is the way most people will do it) for any reason, you will cause your phone to ring. Again older model didn’t have that. Other than that, I am happy with it for the price and it will be well worth it if I get six years out of this one. Time will tell as I have read in some reviews that this dies after 2 years. So we will see.

Review: Lamentablemente desde que lo instale la extencion principal no cargo completamente el equipo y tuve que llevarlo a cargar a la segunda extencion que si funciono (con ambos de hecho), adicionalmente un vez que regrese el equipo a la extencion que le corresponde siempre quedaba prendido como si estuviera en uso y según investigue y por experiencias propios con otros teléfonos previos, no es normal, es de buenos materiales pero si tuve una mala experiencia con uno de los dos equipo, por lo que me vi forzado a regresarlo, aun no recibo mi dinero de regreso pero espero y no tarde ya que de lo contrario tendré que levantar una aclaración con American Express.
