Title: Support and comfort
Review: I didn’t think I’d like these shoes when they arrived. They didn’t seem to have enough flex. I ended up wearing them over 6 hours the first day and my feet weren’t sore. They are narrow like I like and support my feet without them slipping in the shoe. They do run small. I had to switch to the thinnest sock I could find. I bought a 7 1/2 and should have gotten an 8 which I have never bought before.

Title: Comfy hiking/tennis shoe cross
Review: Gave these a try and liked so much, picked up a second pair. Usually wear a 6.5 or a 7, but sized up to a 7.5 to make sure I could wear thick socks – and also, my foot is wedge shaped, wide across the toe with a narrow heel. So with a slimmer toe shape on these, wanted to make sure the front of my foot wasn’t getting pinched. Personally wouldn’t wear these in rough terrain, but for light hiking and everyday (like trips to grocery or doctor) find myself reaching for these time and again. Think they would be good for city sightseeing too.With good socks, found them very comfy for my high arches, out of the box, even with planar fasciatis that flares up. Really like the protected feel of the plush ankle padding, and light weight. Has become a go-to, multi-season shoe. Will probably get a few more pairs to stash, because it’s awful when a great product vanishes, and love these! As I’ve gotten older, I don’t like flimsy shoes; these remind me of wearing dance training shoes with the high ankle; comfortable, protected, and secure.

Title: Order half size larger
Review: Love the color and the tread. I wear a true size 8 medium – for this shoe order a half size larger so your toe doesn’t hit the top. Cushy padding – but not much arch support for those with high arches. Overall – nice shoe.

Title: Great deal!
Review: I really like the beauty of this shoe design compared to some of the other hiking shoes on the market. When I first tried these shoes, I thought wow, it’s not soft inside at all, so I went to REI to compare this $40 shoe to REI’s $150 shoe. I decided to hike with these shoes today to give it a try and I will say it was very comfortable to hike a steep 6 mile hiking trail. I didnt slip at all, the shoes felt very light and it was very comfortable to hike in it. Totally worth th deal if you’re on a budget. I will update my review in a few months to see how they hold up with more use.

Title: Perfect Lightweight Mid Ankle Boot
Review: I’ve been looking for two years for a lightweight mid-ankle hiking boot for day hikes and finally found the perfect solution with the Avia Grit boots. So far I’ve worn on 3 short hikes along loose rocks, small boulders, sand, and muddy terrain to break in before longer hikes in Colorado. The boots keep me secure going uphill and downhill and don’t slip or slide. They are super comfortable and accommodate my bunions without any pain. They are true to size. But, I have not worn in the rain, so can’t report on their ability to withstand rain. They are just super and such a good value. Thank you Avia.

Title: Accurate description
Review: The shoes are the best ever! I wore them while touring on a pilgrimage in Spain and Italy. They had wonderful traction on both unlevel brick walks and also rocky trails and muddy hiking trails. I would by them again and again!
